Story
Barko Polo is deaf and requires someone who is capable of training him. I adopted him last year in October to help me with my PTSD however he requires more than I’m able to provide as far as training. He is a loving dog who has a lot of energy. I am also assisting two elderly disabled seniors and he had been too much for us to handle. I would love to see him go to a loving home who is properly able to fit his needs. This is really difficult for me as he’s been with me through some difficult times . I just don’t have the resources to do better by him.

How do you feel about happy dogs? Are you an active person and would like to have a dog to match your energy? Are you ok with a lap dog even if you loose site of your lap while they are sitting in your lap? If you said yes then come meet this guy. Bruskie is a handsome mix breed boy that gets the full body wiggle in his excitement when you talk or just take him out for a walk and yes, if given the chance he will gladly climb into your lap to give you kisses. Please call the shelter at 937-498-7201 with any questions you may have or to schedule a meet an greet. Lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 with Saturday by appointment.
