Persephone is ready to step out onto the adoption floor! She is a 4 1/2 year old Dogo Argentino, housebroken & crate trained. If you are unfamiliar with this breed, they are big, athletic & powerful, not to mention they can have a wicked stubborn streak coupled with fierce independence & high prey drive, require a lot of exercise & would die protecting their human. Therefore, if you have never owned a Dogo you need not apply, we are looking for an adopter with extensive experience with the breed - those who have owned a Dogo know that we are being more than fair with our expectations. She is very smart and eager to learn new skills. She currently can sit, stay and give her paw. She is crate trained and potty trained. She will be a larger dog and is still very much puppy in a large body. She is good with children and other dogs.
