Story
Meet Maverick, a Neutered pure bred Dogo Argentino who will be 2 in December. Located in Pittsfield, MA, who’s ready to steal your heart—and your couch! This funny and loyal boy grew up in a home with small children, so he knows how to be gentle and affectionate with the little ones. Maverick is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows all his basic obedience, and walks well on leash making him a dream to have around. His favorite pastime? Snuggling up on the couch with his favorite humans after a fun day of play. Maverick does well with large-breed female dogs, especially those who are confident and can help keep him in line with gentle corrections. He thrives with structure and boundaries in place. However, Maverick does not get along with male dogs and cannot live with them, so his forever home must respect this requirement. He has not been around cats so we are unsure how he would do, but would be willing to discuss introductions with the right person.

Story
Jojo is a very sweet boxer Pitt mix. She is 7 years old, just entering her senior years. She has some behavior concerns with other dogs and is weary around little children she doesn’t know. She would do best in a household with no other dogs and no young children. She loves daily routines and is a huge cuddler. She loves going on walks but has lots of dog reactivity. We have just moved to a new home and her dog reactivity has been causing her much anxiety in the new environment. We are unable to give her the environment that she needs not to have lots of anxiety so we are looking to rehome her. Jojo does have some allergies but is on a special prescription diet which has helped her to stay healthy so far. We have loved having her apart of our home but we also understand she may have a healthier more stress free life in a less chaotic home environment.
