He is full of energy, loves running and staying active, always ready for a good play session or a quick jog. He also likes neck and booty scratches and at the mention or sound of food will come running. Has 3 months of Simparica Trio, located in Saint Luis, MO, I can drive him to any nearby City. Hello, I'm Sissie. I've been passed around a bit and unfortunetly this isn't my first time here at PCHS. I was adopted when I was a young pup but somehow ended up on the streets with no place to call home. I'm shy to new people but warm up with some treats. Once we're friends, I'm the sweetest girl. Can you be my patient friend? If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##659584##

Stu, Lou, and Sue! We were found dumped in a ditch, but luckily some caring people stepped up and got us to PCHS so we can find our furever homes. We're in a foster home right now and look to be maybe boxer/Black Mouth Cur mixes.
