Story
Maddie and Lenny are 7 & 6 year old boxers who have been together since they were both puppies. They share a birthday- January 10th. Both are potty trained and current on vaccinations. Maddie (Fawn) is the older sister, she is very calm and laid back. Lenny (White) is a typical boxer- playful, energetic, and loves everybody. They love playing with toys, going on walks, being around people and other animals. They have been around other dogs regularly and both grew up with a cat. Unfortunately, my living situation has changed, and while they both grew up in an apartment with a fenced in yard; they are not adjusting well to a new house. My preference is that they be found a new home together, where they have company most of the day- in the apartment they were kennel trained thru the puppy stage, and from roughly a year old each, both never needed kenneled after that. They really are great dogs, friendly, well behaved, healthy, happy dogs.

Dear Potential Family&#44andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt; My name is Teddy&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m a handsome gentleman who is in his retirement years now and would like to find a home that wants to make me king of the castle&#44 and a bedfellow too - should you need one. I was recently surrendered to the shelter&#44 and while itandamp;#39;s nice here with new friends and everything&#44 I would love to get into a place to call my own. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I am seven years young&#44 and I love to play! Iandamp;#39;m also really smart and know how to ‘sitandamp;#39; and ‘comeandamp;#39; on command! My friends at the shelter keep telling me they love taking me on walks because Iandamp;#39;m such a good boy. I walk calmly and at a gentle pace&#44 and I love to share the road with another shelter buddy or two or three. Iandamp;#39;ve been in a foster home for some time now and my foster mom calls me the best pup ever. I absolutely love to cuddle but also love to play with toys. I do pretty well in my crate while my foster is at work which Iandamp;#39;ve been told is a great skill! A few of my favorite things are peanut butter. leash walls&#44 cuddling&#44 and going on car rides. I would be perfect for anyone!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I can sometimes be a little set in my ways&#44 Iandamp;#39;d prefer older kids who understand that. And while weandamp;#39;re chatting about kids&#44 if you have any&#44 Iandamp;#39;d really like to meet them before we go home to make sure weandamp;#39;re a good fit! andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Can you come to the shelter and ask for me? We were joined at the hip and I was the more shy one of the bunch. What she did&#44 I did&#44 we were like to toddlers in a pea pod. Now that I am at the prison at their Pups For Parole training program&#44 I have become brave&#44 confident and just a good girl. I would love to go to a home that already has a dog living in it. I can be energetic and tend to do well with another dog friend by my side. I walk well on leash&#44 I love love and I am very smart and eager to continue learning new skills that will turn me into a great family dog.
