She's a sweet, sweet pup! She's dog/cat/kid friendly! Oreo is a typical puppy! She still has a lot to learn, but so far she’s been fantastic in her foster home! She’s had little to no potty accidents in the home, with a good continuing routine she will have mastered potty training in no time! She’s just a very happy, loving, energetic puppy that needs a forever home. She’s truly been a great! She looks bigger in photos than she is! Still very small!  Oreo’s foster loves her, so she really needs a home to call her own. She’s the kind of puppy we can’t let go but sadly she can’t stay where she is forever. Please don’t let the Pittie in her scare you away, she’s sweet as pie!   Oreo is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, microchipped and spayed!   CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. All payments are by credit card.  Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise). Story
"Hello, my name is Tori, and I am an incredibly smart and brave dog with a lot of love to give! I am very athletic and protective of my loved ones, so I will always be there when you need me. I am a strong and independent dog, but I am also very affectionate and love nothing more than a good cuddle. I am looking for a forever home where I can be the queen of the castle and receive all the love and affection that I deserve. I would do best in a home without other dogs as I have not had the best experiences with them in the past. If you are willing to open your heart and home to me, I promise to be a loyal companion who will love you endlessly. I am waiting for you with wagging tail and lots of kisses, take the leap and adopt me!" Tori is currently in Indiana with her fosters where she is working on socialization skills. She is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt who will continue her training.

Story
Stella has been living it up in a foster home. Her foster humans have the following to say about her: Stella is a truly sweet and gentle dog who loves affection. She can be wonderfully lazy if you let her, content to lounge around the house with her favorite people. While she enjoys going on walks and exploring, she's equally happy to spend quiet days indoors. At home, her manners are impeccable—she’s never had an accident, isn’t destructive, and is perfectly content to nap on the couch if left alone for a few hours. Stella also has a unique love for buses and tries to board every parked one she encounters. We are actively working on building her confidence around new people and sounds, and she is already showing progress. She needs a patient and kind owner to help her learn to stay calm instead of barking in challenging situations. Occasionally, Stella pulls on the leash when she gets excited, but she’s a quick learner and has already improved significantly in walking nicely without tension on the leash. Stella is a wonderful dog and fostering her has been a joy. She’s looking for a forever family to give her the love she craves!

Barb can take a minute to warm up to people, but give her a little time and she's a total love! Barbara loves snuggles and attention and likes other dogs as long as they're chill and polite. She has the most adorable smushy face and with her long legs you're not likely to see too many pups like her!
