Story
Hi there! I’m Sally, a big girl with an even bigger heart. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s always ready for a fun time, I’m your gal! I absolutely love playing with toys—stuffed animals, squeaky toys, you name it! I have a medium energy level, so I’m happy to lounge around with you, but I also enjoy going on long walks. I’ll admit, I get a little excited at the beginning and might pull on the leash, but don’t worry, I settle down quickly and enjoy the stroll.Because of my size and strength, I’m looking for an experienced owner who knows how to handle a strong dog like me. Sometimes I can get a bit mouthy when I’m overstimulated, so I need someone who can help me stay calm and focused. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things. I get all soft and wiggly with excitement and basically beg for pets! But given how excited I can get sometimes, children are too much for me. As for other furry friends, I should be the only pet in your home—I like having all the attention to myself! I’m super motivated by food (who isn’t, right?) and eager to learn. I’m still working on my house training, but I’m learning fast with a little patience and consistency. If you’re up for the challenge and ready to welcome a loving, playful, and loyal friend into your life, I’m here waiting for you!* My friends at Barking Hound Village are setting me and my new family up to start out on the right paw (so to speak!) and are gifting three training sessions to help us bond and keep my training consistent.

These pups are in Atlanta, Georgia too!

Story
Requirements - fenced yard When we received a call about a dog at a shelter who was covered in mange in addition to being grossly underweight with every rib showing, we didn’t think twice about bringing him into Releash Atlanta. When we saw him being temp-tested and realized he was a black pit bull mix, we didn’t think twice about helping him, knowing full well he had 2 strikes against him getting adopted - being part pitbull and being a black dog. We would like to introduce you to Whiskey, a 13 month old, 30 pound Boxer/Pitty goofball, and hope like us, someone doesn’t think twice about giving this sweet boy the forever home he so deserves. Whiskey * is 95% housebroken * loves other dogs of all sizes and people of all ages * sleeps in a crate at night but recently earned the right to sleep loose in his foster home because he behaves nicely * walks very well on a leash * snores like a buzzsaw! * is THE best snuggle buddy, and simply adores his people * enjoys sunning himself outdoors or laying in the grass playing with his dog friends, so he hopes to have a home with a fenced yard and another dog to pal around with Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! Story
Meet Bandit, my 7-year-old purebred boxer. I have been with him since his birth, and he is the son of his late father who I also owned. Bandit has always had a companion, be it a fellow dog or a human at home. He is a lovable, laid-back dog that adores children and is extremely well-mannered. Bandit walks well on a leash, is housebroken, and is crate-trained. He loves having company, but things have been tough since I moved to an apartment, and he's been experiencing separation anxiety. Unfortunately, he's been howling, whining, and barking, causing my neighbors to complain. Bandit is truly a great dog who craves attention and companionship.
