Story
Hi there! I’m Sally, a big girl with an even bigger heart. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s always ready for a fun time, I’m your gal! I absolutely love playing with toys—stuffed animals, squeaky toys, you name it! I have a medium energy level, so I’m happy to lounge around with you, but I also enjoy going on long walks. I’ll admit, I get a little excited at the beginning and might pull on the leash, but don’t worry, I settle down quickly and enjoy the stroll.Because of my size and strength, I’m looking for an experienced owner who knows how to handle a strong dog like me. Sometimes I can get a bit mouthy when I’m overstimulated, so I need someone who can help me stay calm and focused. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things. I get all soft and wiggly with excitement and basically beg for pets! But given how excited I can get sometimes, children are too much for me. As for other furry friends, I should be the only pet in your home—I like having all the attention to myself! I’m super motivated by food (who isn’t, right?) and eager to learn. I’m still working on my house training, but I’m learning fast with a little patience and consistency. If you’re up for the challenge and ready to welcome a loving, playful, and loyal friend into your life, I’m here waiting for you!* My friends at Barking Hound Village are setting me and my new family up to start out on the right paw (so to speak!) and are gifting three training sessions to help us bond and keep my training consistent.

These pups are in Alpharetta, Georgia too!

Story
What's not to love about me? I'm a cute, petite, super snuggler and I heard a guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which would explain a few things. I love the other dogs in my foster home, but I would not be good on a farm. Little critters trigger my "chase" drive, so please do not bring cats or rabbits.   I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, but I don't walk nicely on a leash. However, with lots of patience and training, you can teach me. You see, I'm pretty unruly on walks and even scream when overexcited, so teaching me how to redirect and refocus would be our number one priority. But a home with a nice, secure, tall fence will be great. That way, I won't get the leash crazies. I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 11-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Apply to adopt Admiral at the website shown below:     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found at http://www.angelsrescue.org/pet-forms/dog-adoption-app.asp and can be submitted online. Story
ROSS ~~ Boxer Mix, Fawn and White, Neutered Male, 68 pounds, Birthdate: 12/27/2021 This boy has never met a stranger and loves everyone! Are you a dog lover looking for that special “ride or die” dog to love? Come meet Ross and see if he checks off all the boxes. Ross is looking for his forever person.... someone who "gets him" and can't live without him. Is that you? He may also do well in a home with other large, friendly and non-aggressive dogs. FAVORITE #1 THING IN THE WORLD: Ross absolutely loses his mind when you play fetch with him. He loves to chase the ball and brings it back to anyone who will play with him! FUN FACTS: Ross is intelligent, playful, and curious about his surroundings. He enjoys learning new things and would do best with an active couple, single person or family with older kids. He may not be the best candidate with small kids ~~ he may jump up on them in excitement. However, with a little practice and training, he could learn not to do this. ENERGY LEVEL: Ross is an energetic, fun-loving, playful and goofy guy who would love a fenced backyard to run around in. Do you have some cool toys, like to go for hikes or go running? Even better! Ross is food/treat motivated and would love to be with you wherever you go! Ross would also be a great boy for movie marathons on the couch after playing some fetch. OTHER PETS: Ross may also do well in a home with other large, friendly and non-aggressive dogs. We always suggest a meeting of other dogs prior to adoption to ensure a smooth transition to a new home. Ross WILL NOT do well in a home with cats or small dogs. ADOPTION FEE: $130. His adoption fee includes one month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites). HEALTH/MEDICAL: He's current on vet services, vaccines, is microchipped, neutered, and has a negative heartworm and fecal test. COME MEET ROSS AT Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Closed on all major holidays. Visit at least two hours prior to closing. No appointment is needed.
