Story
Meet Miss Eloise – The Sweetest Momma Dog Eloise is a true survivor and an inspiration to everyone who meets her. Her journey has been incredibly challenging, but through it all, she has remained gentle, loving, and full of heart. We tried to rescue Eloise directly from the LA shelter as she was scheduled to be euthanized, but she was adopted before we could get to her. Sadly, but with good intentions, the adopter brought home both Eloise and another dominant female Cane Corso. Without any gradual introduction or separation, a serious fight occurred between the two girls shortly after. Eloise, already exhausted and weakened from her past, received the worst of it and was unable to fully protect herself. Thankfully, we saw a post from the adopter asking for help, and within hours, one of our dedicated volunteers had her safely in our care. Eloise’s challenges didn’t end there. She had been bred nearly to the point of exhaustion, and after just one day with her foster mom, it was clear she was very sick. At the ER, we discovered she had injuries from the fight, pneumonia, pyometra, bilateral ACL tears, and a belly full of puppies. Her resilience is truly astonishing. Even after returning home from her first ER visit, she experienced setbacks and required multiple nights of IV fluids and medications. Through it all, Eloise has been nothing short of a champion, calm, sweet, and loving. Today, she’s thriving in her foster home. She has some pep in her step and a much happier dog. About Eloise • Personality: Gentle, affectionate, resilient, and loving • Health: Recovering from serious injuries and illnesses; thriving in foster care • Dog Compatibility: Not fully evaluated with other dogs due to her recovery. A quiet home with no other pets is ideal for now, though she may be compatible with a friendly male dog in the future after reassessment • Ideal Home: A calm, loving environment where she can feel safe, relax, and enjoy the affection she deserves Eloise has endured so much loss, neglect, and hardship. Now, she’s ready for a home forever where she can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished. Could your home be the perfect place for Miss Eloise to thrive? Story
I acquired Indie after her owner suddenly passed away. Indie is a very smart, and loyal pup. She will sit or lay right next to you wherever you are like your personal sidekick. Indie has a more calmer nature, but when she’s excited she can also seem anxious. Which she is a little, she’s afraid of thunder and fireworks, and needs something to hold in her mouth (right now she has a bunny) when she’s excited. But she is so loyal and sweet. Loves belly scratches, she’ll actually give you her paw a million times, she wants you to scratch her belly. And finally, she absolutely loves to cuddle. She is not fixed.

Story
Max’s owner passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. He is about 6 or 7 years old I believe but still has the soul of a puppy. He loves to play with toys, and chew on bones. He is hilarious, and so loving. He likes to nuzzle with his huge head. He is definitely high energy and would need lots of walks, play time or enrichment he is very playful. It would be nice to find another Male human they could play with but anyone willing to give them some patience and love would be greatly appreciated! I would say preferably with no kids. Not that he’s bad with kids I’ve never personally seen them around kids, nor do I think they’ve ever been around them. Their owner never had kids.
