Story
Draco is a true gentle giant. Despite his looks, Draco continues to prove he's the best dog a family could ask for as a sweet, affectionate couch potato. Draco was initially found scrounging for food in a part of San Antonio known for its complete disregard for decent human kindness towards animals. Not only was he incredibly malnourished but he was so dirty from living on the streets- you couldn't tell what his true fur color was. Draco had been let down by humans. Thankfully he was so pure of heart and trusting that he allowed his rescuer to save him and give him another opportunity at life. Draco has been patiently waiting in a foster home for nearly TWO YEARS! We don't want him to loose hope, Draco has watched many of his foster siblings come and go to their forever homes. He's always excited when he has a new pup to play with but sad when they leave. He's very patient with children- his foster home has a 6 year old son who enjoys playing fetch and chase with Draco in their backyard. Draco is working on leash manners and does better on a harness when walking. Draco is good with dogs big and small, but prefers any large male dogs to be submissive. Draco's only flaw is that he needs to be fed separate from his furry friends. After being starved on the streets he is scared it could be his last meal again. Draco is crate trained but really enjoys to be outdoors on nice sunny days as long as it's not too hot or too cold. This big boy is ready to give you all his love! Good with dogs and kids. NO CATS PLEASE! Draco is currently being fostered in San Antonio and looking for an adopter or committed foster to adopt to hop on the transport to Denver scheduled for January. ##2237162##
