Story
3 year old female Dogo Argentino, Brie Cheese. We don’t want to surrender her to the local shelter where we picked her up from. Instead, we’d like to put her up for adoption to people that will care for her. We have 3 mastiffs in the house (Cane Corso, English Mastiff, and Brie) and it’s only large enough for 2. Some things to note about Brie: 1. She’s an amazingly loyal pup. 2. She’s in excellent shape, muscular, not underweight, and loves being active (running, chasing, being chased). 3. She is house trained and was professionally leash and command trained. She is crate trained and is able to stay crated for 6+ hours, if needed. She is great at learning new commands and is highly intelligent. 4. She was spayed and micro chipped from the shelter before we picked her up. All her shots are up to date, and she has not had a single health issue.

Story
Please meet Frito and read what his foster has to say about him. -Frito is big love bug who adores people and other dogs, almost as much as bully sticks and snuggles on the couch! He has a calm energy about him and is great around kids of all sizes, but can turn it up a notch when given the chance to run at the dog park or in a big yard. He visibly smiles when running full speed or getting out his zoomies! He is fantastic in the car and loves going on adventures to the beach, the park, and the local hiking trails, but also curls up for a nap in the back seat if you take him to run errands and need to leave him in the car. He’s highly social and would probably love being in a home with other dog siblings and possibly a dog savvy cat, but would be fine as an only dog too. He has yet to meet a dog at the dog park or on our walks that he didn’t like and doesn’t exhibit any “alpha male” traits. He would be a great candidate for someone who can bring their dog to work and would likely be the most handsomest boy in the office! Frito is a beautiful boy on the inside and outside, and will warm the hearts of his future family.- Traits: - House trained - Knows how to sit - Waits before eating - Curious - Calm energy - Very sweet and loving - Fantastic with dogs and humans - Unsure of cats (barks at them), but fine with all other animals we see on walks. *His foster mom will pay for half of his adoption fees.*

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, January 25th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $700   Toby is a 6 month old Boxer x Beagle mix who’s ready to rock and roll his way into your heart! Toby was found wandering the streets of San Jose by good samaritans who did their best to find his former home. When that wasn’t possible, they got him seen by a vet and are now hoping to find him a new landing place where he can grow and thrive. Toby currently weighs around 35 pounds and will probably max out around 50 pounds. If you’re ready for adventure with a canine best friend, come and meet Toby!      Toby is a happy and loving puppy ready to make the world his own! He loves to play with his humans, his toys, and his canine foster brother. He adores his humans and loves knowing where everyone is. He is the perfect mix of active and laid back, especially for a large-breed puppy. According to his foster mom, he is 50% playful and 50% loungey. He loves his long walks though and would be an amazing addition to an active home looking to explore the outdoors. We could see Toby thriving in a variety of homes, as long as there is plenty of love in store for him! He loves having a playful companion but he could also thrive solo! He’s just ready to be your happy and faithful companion. He is also super smart as well as food motivated and has picked up tons of tricks in the time he has been with his foster people. You won’t find a better more amazing companion than Mr. Toby!  Toby wakes up at 7 AM and heads outside to stretch and go potty. He gets lots of pets and hugs before he relaxes as his humans start their day. He has breakfast at 8 AM inside of his crate and then spends some time playing with his toys and relaxing. He goes on a walk around 11 AM before returning home for an afternoon of napping and playing with his toys. At 4 PM he practices some of his tricks before he goes on another walk, followed by some playtime at the park. He has dinner at 7 PM and then plays with his toys. He winds down around 9 PM and heads to bed after one last potty break.  Toby currently lives with a large dog and they get along very well. He loves humans of all ages as long as they will play with him! Toby walks well on the leash and loves his strolls. He is house trained. If you’re ready to find your new pal, come on down and meet Toby!      Toby is an option for homes with prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 5.January 25, 2025, 12:25 am
