Story
Looking for a loyal companion with the heart of a puppy and the soul of a goofball? Meet Ace! At just under two years old, Ace is a big, lovable guy who’s still got that playful puppy energy—and the cuddly instincts to match. If he could live in your lap, he absolutely would! Shelter staff believe Ace is housetrained—he’s polite enough to only go in his outdoor kennel. He’s smart, eager to please, and ready to thrive with someone who can help him learn and grow. With the right guidance, Ace has the potential to be the ultimate adventure buddy or couch companion (or both!). He does have a strong prey drive and a curious spirit, so a secure yard with a fence at least 6 feet tall is a must—he’s been known to take himself on self-guided tours of the neighborhood. But with love, consistency, and a bit of structure, he’ll happily stick close by your side. For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

Story
Meet Greek Yogurt! Greek Yogurt is a gentle soul with a heart as soft as her name. Deaf and partially blind, she experiences the world in her own quiet, tender way, guided by trust and connection more than sight or sound. She’s incredibly sweet-natured and finds her greatest comfort curled up in a warm lap, soaking in the closeness of her person. Though she moves softly through life, she is never far she loves to be your little shadow, following along and staying near, always content just to be by your side. Her calm presence and affectionate spirit make her a truly special companion, one who speaks volumes without ever making a sound.

Story
Meet Luna! Luna is about 2 and a half years old, and she has a heart of gold. She may excitedly follow you around, or come invade your space for attention and cuddles. Luna loves to find a perfect spot to lay in whether it's a random spot around the home, or that perfect spot to get a quick sun tan in. Luna has lived with smaller dogs previously, and done well, however we always recommend slower introductions to new canine friends. Luna doesn't have a history with cats, so slow introductions are definitely recommended. In Luna's previous home, she did live with younger kids, and loved them. If you're looking for a unique dog, come meet Luna today!

Story
Meet Ghost! Ghost is a young husky mix who is ready for his next big adventure. He originally came to us as a stray so not much is known about his past. He has been incredibly friendly with staff and loves meeting new friends. Since we don't know much about his past we recommend a nice slow introduction into his new home. He loves going for walks as well as playing with fun toys. There is never a dull moment when Ghost is around. He is sure to fill your life with laughter and fun adventures. If you are interested in meeting Ghost please come see us today!

Story
Trigger has been with us for about 6 years, and unfortunately we are preparing to move and will be unable to bring him with us. He has been very sweet with our young children and is gentle and playful with our cats. He needs a loving home that will give him lots of attention, and will be a fantastic guard dog as well. (He is territorial, but fine with guests as long as they are introduced properly. He just deeply cares about protecting his humans.)
