Story
This playful, happy guy is Pickles. He is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull terrier. Pickles is a all-star champ at playing fetch. He also loves to go camping and going on new adventures as long as you bring a tennis ball with of course. Due to Pickles not always knowing his size and always wanting to play, we believe Pickle would do the best living with kids 10+. Pickles would thrive the most being the only animal in the home and having all the attention on him. He is the perfect travel buddy as Pickles loves going on car rides and smelling the fresh breeze. Although at the end of the day Pickles just wants someone to snuggle with. ***If you are interested in adopting please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Story
Chun-Li is and Extended Stay Friend. Her adoption fee is $125. Meet Chun-Li, the sweet old girl who’s the best of both worlds! She's the perfect mix of calm and playful! Chun-Li walks nicely on a leash, making her a pleasant partner for leisurely strolls. While she may not be interested in toys, she never says no to treats or some good butt scratches. Chun-Li treasures the affection of her people above all else and is happiest when she’s close to you. If you're looking for a gentle and loving companion who prefers quiet moments of togetherness over the hustle and bustle, Chun-Li is the perfect match for you! **Here are some words from her foster family!*** "She has been absolutely flourishing here and has turned into a fairly active pup! We have been working on her stamina with walks with her joints in mind and are now up to about 1.5-2 miles at a time. Her joints don’t seem to bug her at all, she no longer has trouble hopping on the couch. She demands walks every day (it’s quite funny) and has a blast. We have loved fostering her again, she is a true queen!" Chun-Li would do fine in a home with children of all ages. We are not sure of how she is around cats Chun-Li can be selective with her doggy friends so a dog-to-dog meet is required before going into a home with other dogs. Chun-Li recently went on a Doggy Day Out with one of our volunteers and did wonderfully. She did great in the car, enjoyed a pup-cup and did lots of exploring. She was described as sweet, gentle, kind, beautiful and inquisitive. Here is what our volunteers have to say about her: "Chun-Li is a super sweet, docile, gentle girl. She did great riding in the car and going to the parks and exploring. She is such a sweetheart. I hope she finds an amazing "furever" home very soon." Chun-Li is a 7.5 year old female Pit bull who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and currently weighing 66.5lbs. *If you are interested in adopting please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Story
Meet Chet, a big, lovable guy with a heart as big as his paws! Despite his size, Chet firmly believes he’s a lapdog and will gladly snuggle up for some quality cuddle time. He’s a playful and energetic pup who’s always ready for a game of fetch, especially if there are tennis balls involved. Chet adores attention and will soak up all the love you can give. He is good at taking treats gently making sure not to get your fingers. Chet is the great mix of playfulness and affection, ready to bring joy to his forever home. Chet would do best in a home with children ages 5 and above. We are unsure of how he is around cat friends. Chet would to well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. Chet is currently in a foster home working on his excitability and manners. Here's what his fosters have to say! "Some things about Chet is that he is a Big snuggle bug and loves to sleep. He has his moments of very high energy so he would love to go on walks in the neighborhood or even run around a park or a large back yard. He’s really good with other dogs. It is also recommended that he is in a home with a larger dog and not a little dog, as he can play rough with smaller dogs. He knows how to sit and a few other smaller commands. We are currently working on training him for good behaviors and teaching him good boundaries. If someone is willing to take the time to work with him, he could be one of the most well trained dogs. He loves playing with toys. He is a sweet boy and with an owner who is loving and dedicated to helping him learn boundaries he will flourish anywhere. It doesn’t take him too long to get acclimated in a new home, when we first got him here it took him a few hours and he made himself right at home." This big guy recently started going on Doggy Day Outs with our volunteers. He has hung out at a park, gone on hikes and tried a pup-cup. He has been described as excitable, friendly with everyone, curious, treat motivated and a good walker after he settles down. Here is what our volunteers have to say about him: "Chet did great on his Doggy Day Out! He is a very excitable, friendly boy. He loves to sniff and explore. He cant get enough of both! I did some leash training with him and he did pretty good with that once he settled down. I'd love to see him on more Doggy Day Outs because he loves being out and exploring the great outdoors!" "Other than being jostled around in the back while driving, Chet did wonderful on his day out! He loves to sniff on walks and is a very curious boy. His leash walking skills need some work for he gets distracted and likes to veer off to the right or left. I used the side command quite a bit. Overall Chet did super being out and he's very friendly and wanted to say "hi" to everyone, including other dogs." Chet is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees/Pitbull mix. He is current on vaccinations, is neutered, microchipped, and weighing 69lbs. *If you are interested in adopting please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
