Story
Name: Amelia Age: 1 year Breed: Husky mix Gender: Female Weight: 30 Good with kids: Older - Avery Skittish yet Good with dogs: Yes! Will need another dog Good with cats: Curious but good! Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Appleton Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: 400 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Amelia's rescue adventure began when she and her brother Zillah escaped euthanasia at a small shelter.  Amelia spent the first few days here hiding in the back of our kennel too scared to eat or drink. Then slowly laying with out paws hanging out, and accepting the goodies her foster mom dropped off throughout the day. She still avoids eye contact at times, and will need a very dedicated home to continue working with her long term. Playing outside with the other dogs in her foster home came naturally, and having a canine pal in her forever home to help her transition is a mutst! Rope toys, Jolly balls, squeakies, you bet. Love then all! Amelia's journey is just getting started and we can't wait to see where she lands. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Story
Name: Nacho Age: 5 years Breed: chihuahua mix Guesstimated Weight: 16-18 lbs Good with dogs?: yes, but needs a safe space until he is comfortable around other dogs. He is not mean, just scared. Good with kids?: very timid around kids and hides or runs away from them. (Not aggressive at all) He would do well with older/respectful children. Good with cats: yes Crate trained?: yes Leash trained?: He did OK on the leash for his new fosters House Trained?: Yes. Has not shown any destruction. He knows how to use a dog door and enjoys spending time outdoors. Current on all vaccines?: yes Spayed/neutered?: yes Heartworm Tested?: yes Bio: Nacho will take a few days to come out of his shell. He does not trust humans in the beginning. He flinches when the humans pet him. He will only allow the petting when he is relaxing in his crate, but does not appear to find it comforting. He has never snapped at the humans. We are still working very hard to gain his trust and he makes improvements every day. He does not appear to be dog food/treat motivated, but he LOVES Vienna sausages. He would pair great with a confident dog November 5, 2024, 7:24 pm

Story
Name: Carly Age: 8 years Breed: chi mix Gender: female Weight: 15 pounds Good with kids:  yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: yes, but initially nervous around them Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Green Bay, Wi Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: 200.00 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Meet Carly! Carly joins us from our friends in Midland Texas! She is a senior chi mix with a love of the outdoors! Carly enjoys running in the yard, and sniffing all the sniffs! Carly is blind, so she will need you to stay with her if your yard is not fenced. (She has eye drops to help keep her comfortable). She has no trouble walking on a leash. Carly also has diabetes. This is regulated by receiving insulin twice daily, and eating a special food. Dogs with Diabetes will also require glucose curves at the discretion of their vet, to ensure the insulin dose is where it should be. Her care is is easy peasy, and developing a routine happens rapidly. Carly is fostered with several other dogs. She will grumble at them initially, but stops when you say her name and seems to adjust rather quickly. She has no trouble getting on furniture and likes to just hang out. Story
Shela is a spunky 12 year old chihuahua mix whose owner passed away. This girl loves her people so much she doesn't care to share her home with other dogs. Shela isn't threated by cats and pretty much ignores them. This special girl had to have a bilateral teacbo surgery It is a procedure that removes both inner ear canals due to heavy infection and being polyped shut. Shela is now deaf but that doesn't slow her down. She gets around and despite knowing she can not hear we swear at times it like she can. She's incredibly intune with her surroundings. Shela gets excited and has the most adorable zoomies , appears to be pretty much potty trained and does well in a kennel.November 5, 2024, 7:24 pm

Story
Name: Paul Age: 12 years Breed: chi mix Gender: male Weight: 12 lbs Good with kids: unknown Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Green Bay, Wi Application & Website:  https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html  Adoption fee: 200.00 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Check out this handsomely hued little senior! Paul is estimated to be 12 years old, and was a last minute save from the euth list at a shelter in a neighboring state. We are so glad this spunky dude got to join us! P. Though Paul is blind he can find you if you make kissy noises or call him, and boy is he excited when he does! He will try to jump onto you, though he isn’t one for getting on furniture. He has learned to navigate the couple deck stairs, but any flights of stairs in his forever home should be gated for safety. Paul enjoys exploring the fenced yard, but does well on a leash as well. He does have bumps on his chest that were deemed fatty lumps, so we do try to avoid holding onto that area when we pick him up. Thats right- no issues with being picked up, having his nails cut, or taking a bath. This sweetie has kisses to offer! He is dog friendly but has been grumbled at a few times upon running into another dog- so he will occasionally grumble if one approaches him. Paul has no trouble finding the water dish, or a cozy bed. While Paul will go potty when outside, he is rocking a belly band as he will have some accidents in the house. This does also occur with  #2s  at times. Its important to head outdoors when he wakes up, or exits his kennel. He needs help getting into the kennel, but is happy to relax once inside. Paul has only ever let out three individual barks while in our care, but will let out adorable exaggerated yawns. Paul is an incredibly loving guy who deserves the world!  Www.ourpackanimalrescue.com  Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based rescue. Meet and greets are arranged after an applicaytion has been approved. Preapproval applications for future adoption are welcome. November 5, 2024, 7:24 pm
