Story
Hi! My name is Michael and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I've been at the shelter since June 21st.I found my way to the shelter from a previous unfortunate situation. I was brought to the shelter with my two other friends and 8 puppies as part of an immediate crisis surrender. I tend to be very shy when I first meet new friends, but I am not aggressive. I am avoidant of new people and tend to not seek out attention until I feel comfortable. In my previous home staff knows that I was very playful and loving, and I have met cats. I would do best in a home with possibly another dog as they give me courage, and children older than 10 years. My ideal home would be willing to give me time to decompress and slowly socialize me to the world. I'm sure I will realize the world isn't so scary with some patient people to guide me. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.MICHAEL'S ADOPTION FEE: $325 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Michael and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Primary Color: Red Gold Weight: 33.5 Age: 1yrs 4mths 3wks

**Available from Training**Hi! My name is Suni and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I've been at the shelter since June 19th.I am a energetic, bouncy and happy-go-lucky lady that has lots of energy when I meet new friends. I found my way to the shelter as a stray, I was left tied up by a public bathroom. Because of that, staff doesn't know too much about my background. Staff thinks I am around two years old based off of my energy level and general demeanor. I don't know too many commands, so I could benefit from some training. I have met another dog at the shelter and didn't mind them too much. I did eventually become overwhelmed and wanted to be done playing with my high energy buddy, so I could potentially get along with a calmer canine friend. Staff is unsure how I behave around cats or kids.My ideal home would be active (preferably with a fenced in yard so I can run around), and willing to invest time in training me so I can be the best girl possible. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Story
Hi! My name is Joss and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 6yrs old and I've been at the shelter since September 17.I am a very goofy guy who can be a little nervous when meeting new people. It wont take me long wo warm up with a few treats and a couple butt scratches we will be buddies in no time. I really enjoy playing outside specifically fetch with squeaky toys! I love all kinds of treats I am not picky at all and that will be super helpful for training! My ideal home would be patient and loving with not a whole lot going on. In my previous home I did live with kids and I did really well. I am pretty dog selective so I wouldn't mind a buddy but I would have to make sure we vibe first! I will need some help with training but I do know some of the basics already so that is super helpful! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Story
Hi! My name is Susie and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 2yrs old and I've been at the shelter since August 21st.I am a sweet and wiggly lady who can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but don't let that fool you! I warm up very quickly with some treats and gentle pets. Once I trust you I will want nothing more than snuggles and affection! I'm learning to love toys, and so far tennis balls and squeaky plush ones are my favorites! My ideal home would be patient and willing to put in some work on my training and help me combat my separation anxiety. I came from a large hoarding situation, so manners are not my strong suit yet. I can be a bit jumpy, and I definitely feel insecure when I'm all alone. I'm food and praise motivated, and a very quick learner, so training should be a breeze! I would do well in a home with other dogs and I would do best with older kids due to how jumpy/mouthy I can get sometimes. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt!
