Story
Duke is the sweetest boy ever, absolutely a cuddle bud. He is full of energy and ready for an adventure at all times. He has always been an only child since I have had him. I love him dearly and looking for someone to do the same, I will be moving and unable to take him and he deserves someone who loves him and has the ability to let him have a good life.

Story
Our dog has been with us since she was 8 weeks old. She'll be 2 years old in April. She is potty trained. With our busy schedule, we just don't have time with her. Also with our living situation, we just can't have her. Makes me sad that she is caged up all day long. With just our family she is fine, but around new people she will bark aggressively. We have her trained through Off Leash K-9 training LLC. down in Milwaukee, WI for 2 weeks. If she ever misbehaves you can contact them. They will help put her back in place. It is a lifetime help. We hope to find a family that is willing to help us love her and be the best family for her. Who has time for her and just enjoy her. It breaks my heart that I'm rehoming her. But our living situation is very tough right now. Our dog loves a lot of hugs and pats. She enjoys a lot of walks. All I'm asking is a good home for her. She is very hyper too.

Story
Hello my name is Tick! I am a 3 year old large mixed breed that came into South Wood County Humane Society as a stray. For over a year now I have been patiently awaiting for someone or a family to adopt me. I`m going to need a home that has patience. I do well with everyone, I just need the time to adjust to newer people. I enjoy long walks and treats. I`m very laid back and enjoy cuddling. Due to recent meet and greets, in my search for a new home, it is important that I go to a home as an only dog and no children. Overall, I`m very good girl that has a lot of love to offer who`d love to find her a home who understands some dogs take a lot of patience and time to adjust to new people and surroundings. Please come get to know me a little more by taking me for a walk or even just sit in the grass with me. My adoption is $250. It covers my spay, vaccines and other medical needs while here at SWCHS. Fill out an application at: https://www.swchs.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hello, Im Axel.Staff love me here but they think it`s time I find my forever home! I would be a perfect-sized travel companion for someone who lived on the road or even someone who had a large backyard for me to run. I enjoy getting my exercise by playing catch with some tennis balls in the play yard. I`m a pretty big cuddle bug. I would be best fit for a home by myself without other animals unless you are willing to help me with some training. Its not recommended that I be with children under the age of 12 just due to my high energy that I have. Don`t those things stop you from choosing me, I will fill your heart with all the love I have! I`m definitely ready for someone to scoop me up.

Story
Hi my name is Hennessy. I am a big boy with big energy. I have missed a lot of. My foundational skills with the start of my life. The staff here are working with me to gain confidence and manners. I need a home where there are no other dogs, cats or small children as I am not always the most polite when meeting and I forget my size. I am looking for a home that is willing to work with my needs and seek further training with outside trainers. I am really a sweet dog but I just need to understand how to exert my energy. If you are interested in me please fill out an application at http://www.swchs.com/adopt/adoption-application/
