Story
Mabel is originally from MADACC (Milwaukee). She is very friendly with everyone. She is crate trained/house trained. She was left alone in the bathroom and chewed on the baseboard so since then she has been in the crate completely and she has been fine with it. She is a chewer of certain things. Like beds & if she is left alone with a tennis ball. She loves running in the yard and will chase and bring back tennis balls. Not much interest in other toys. Listens fairly well. Overall a very good dog. Will be a great companion. Gets along with cats in the house. Has met dogs at daycare/boarding and got along with every dog except one. Mabel just turned one year old so she is very much a puppy yet. She loves long walks and being outside. She'll go out in the rain without a problem. So far nothing scares her. She's been around construction, loud vehichles, and didn't react to thunder. Isn't necessarily a fan of car rides, but when she is in, she'll look out the window or lay down.

Story
Ribbit would like you to shut the door, because are you the person paying to heat the outside? He`d also like you to check the oil, bring a jacket in case it gets cold and call him when you get to your destination so he doesn`t need to worry.Ribbit is an old soul in a 4-ish-year-old body. He can be cautious with new people and situations and he`s not one to smother anyone with kisses right away. But give him a piece of string cheese and you might eventually get a clumsy zoomie run out of him!More about Ribbit:- 4 years old (estimated)- 91 pounds (could stand to lose about 10-15 pounds)- Loves sniffy walks, cheese, butt scratches, and bird watching- Moderate energy level- Seems nervous and agitated when dogs get too close - would most likely prefer to be only dog- No known history with cats- Suggested for a quiet home with adults only or kids in upper teen years- Neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchippedPlease note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Arlo is a sweet and gentle boy waiting to be your new best friend. Once comfortable, he is a big affection hog, and will be asking for butt scratches and pets as long as you will give them! He warms up fairly quick with strangers and has a funny, bubbly personality. He is fun to play with, likes toys and walks, but would also enjoying just hanging out at home, doing what ever it is you`re doing. He is such a fun dog. Even though he is a senior, you would never guess it! He is young at heart. Arlo would love to meet you and be part of your family!-8 years old and weighs 80 pounds -He has done great with handling, baths, going on walks and meeting new people. -He has lived with multiple cats in a previous home-LOVES butt scratches and leaning into you-He has met with dogs at the shelter and did good, but he seems to be dog-selective. He would need a playmate that is on the calmer side.-Suggested for children age 10 and up -Very treat motivated and would love to learn tricks!-Shows signs of being housetrained -Neutered, vaccinated and microchippedPlease note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Sweet Alma is looking for her retirement home where she can be spoiled like she deserves. This lovely lady was found as a stray and it became apparent her eyesight wasn`t the best. But she navigates fairly well! She enjoys brisk walks outside and loves attention from her people. Could you give Alma the loving home she`s looking for in her golden years?Note: Alma does have a tear-production issue and she will need daily eye drops for tear production and comfort, most likely for the rest of her life. Adopters should be aware of this medical need when considering Alma. - 9 years old (estimated)- 11 pounds- Sweet and gentle, yet can be playful and spunky- Has reduced eyesight but can navigate fairly well and can follow voices- Loves being petted, eating treats, and going on sniffy walks- Wants her person to herself so would be best as an only dog- Suggested for families with children around 12 and over due to initial nervousness from reduced vision/handling. - Would most likely enjoy a quiet, calm home but one that can still give her brisk walks! She`s still got plenty of pep in her step! - Spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchippedPlease note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible.
