Story
He is 4 years old this past August. He needs a home where he can get plenty of exercise and retrieving. He is extremely smart and wants to be included in everything you do. He is somewhat stubborn, but that is par for the course with this breed. He will challenge you at times, but you just have to stay stern and consistent with him in what you reward and what you discipline. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Meet Harley Quinn! Harley is a great medium sized girl that is here looking for her forever home! She will play ball for as long as you will throw it. Don't ask me how I know this, but a little birdy told me she loves chicken nuggets too. But shhhh.... :] She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and potty trained. She can be female dog selective but will get along with most when properly introduced. To meet Harley, please get me your application ASAP.SL268240For best response to an inquiry about this animal, please visit www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org, fill out an application and return it to us. Story
Home to Home Adoption....Meet Chowder.  Chowder is a very strong spirited young girl that is a very quick learner and needs help with training.  She is very high energy, and a fenced yard is a requirement.  The perfect fit for Chowder would be a very active lifestyle person or couple that would want a dog to be a companion to go on car rides and play ball or take on walks or go camping.  Chowder is dog selective so would do best as an only dog home.  Since she is so strong, I would say an adult only home at this point.  She will be going to dog training classes soon as well.  To meet Chowder or learn more about her, please contact me ASAP.  SL268240For best response to an inquiry about this animal, please visit www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org, fill out an application and return it to us. Story
Meet the gorgeous Princess Gaia! She is an extremely vocal girl that loves to hear herself sing and is also extremely energetic! She isn’t the most fond girl of other dogs, so I’m thinking she wants a solo career singing to the beat of her own band. She is exceptionally sweet and would do best in a home with no children and an active lifestyle. She would require a fully fenced yard and no apartments or rentals due to the breed or size restrictions from most landlords. If you would like to meet Princess Gaia, please get me your application ADAP. Story
Meet Kai! He is not your typical lab mix. He is very strong, very high energy, stubborn and a picky eater. He walks well on a leash but will need a very active family. He gets bored easy and always needs something to engage him. He is very intelligent and protective of everything he loves. He would do best in a family with no small children because he is big and goofy and doesn't realize his size. He would do best as an only dog or someone that understands dog behavior. Because he is an attention hog and gets jealous easily. If you have the need for a bull-headed big lab mix boy, Kai is your dog. Get me your application ASAP.SL268240For best response to an inquiry about this animal, please visit www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org, fill out an application and return it to us. Thank you!
