Story

We are looking to rehome our very loving 6.5 year old Australian Retriever as it is no longer safe to have him in our home with our toddler and newborn. For background, our Australian Retriever, Hunter, has been a wonderful part of our family. Unfortunately, a little over a year ago, he did snip at our 10 month old. We kept them separated and worked on reintroduction over time per our vet's recommendation and spoke with a behavioral therapist, always monitoring them constantly. Unfortunately, he did snip and growl again at our 2 year old recently and we do not feel comfortable continuing to have him in our home with 2 small children. He is an amazing dog for those without little kids and we are hoping to find him a loving home that can be a better fit for him.

We received Max as a puppy from a breeder in IL. He is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people and children. He is very sweet and playful, but would really benefit from someone that could stay home with him all day to cuddle. Since we have moved three times in the last two years, he has acquired major separation anxiety when we go to work. We have tried many different things, but no luck. It is time to try and re-home him. His special needs is dealing with his separation anxiety and crate training again. He is neutered and up to date on routine shots and rabies. Birthdate 12/31/2020 His adoption donation is $450 and needs to be cash or certified check. We do not ship or transport. Any questions feel free to email me.

Meet Olivia. She is a 1.5 year of the very famous `mixed breed` category. She is potty trained and learning to walk on a leash without pulling. She is petite at only 29 pounds. She`s already been a mom but still has lots of puppy energy. She wants snuggles and gives many kisses when she is done getting her zoomies out. It is felt that she would do best with a fenced yard or an outside run. She is pretty speedy when she gets moving. She loves loves people and is good with other dogs but like always we would want to introduce her to a new prospective sibling. Cats are unknown at this time.
