Story
Rehoming Noodle is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I want her to have the home where she can truly thrive. ✨ What Makes Noodle Special: Noodle bonds deeply with her human. She is the type of dog who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your most loyal friend. She’s affectionate, funny, and incredibly loving once she trusts you. ✨ Home Where She’ll Thrive: Because she forms such strong bonds, Noodle does best in a quiet, one-person home without children. She can feel anxious with too much activity and may act protective if she thinks her person needs defending. She would be perfect for someone who wants a devoted companion and enjoys a calm lifestyle. With the right person, Noodle will be the most loving, loyal, and rewarding dog. She has so much warmth and affection to give, and she deserves a home where she can feel safe and adored. If you think you might be her person, I’d love to talk and make sure it’s the perfect match.

Story
Luna was rescued in January of 2020. She was found as a stray who had recently had a litter. She is likely about 7-8 years old currently. We DNA tested her and her results came back 60.1% American Pit Bull Terrier, 16.4% American Staffordshire Terrier, 14.8 American Bulldog, and 8.7% Supermutt (but likely husky!) While Luna is a great dog, and friendly to all humans, she is very dog-reactive. I have a 2-year-old daughter and a newborn. Between two children, frequent travel, and anxiety about taking her on walks due to her reactivity, we would like to find a home better suited to her needs. We feel Luna would do best in a home with adults or older children. While mostly a couch-potato, Luna loves to play fetch and tug of war and go on runs! She is a snuggle bug and wants to be next to you all the time. She knows lots of commands and is very food motivated.

Story
I would like you to meet Lucy, a pure bred border collie. She is just four years old now, sorry pictures are out of date. And has been a great dog to have for the last fours years! We have been wanting to rehome her since we started having kids but cant find a good fit. Since she started being around the children more she has shown aggression towards them. And naturally they wouldnt respect her space so she acts out toward that. But unfortunately she has proven she cant be trusted around small children. We also feel that we can't provide her the attention she needs. She would do great in a home where she can play outside a lot and run, she has a lot of energy. She would be better in a home without children. With the proper training I feel that Lucy can be the perfect dog for your home!

Story
Introducing Cricket! This adorable, energetic boy is full of life and ready to find a family who can keep up with his enthusiasm! Cricket thrives on playtime - whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or any other game that involves his favorite people (or dog friends), he’s always up for fun. Once he’s out the door, Cricket is a great walker, but he can get a bit jumpy and wiggly during harnessing - he just can’t contain his excitement! With patience and positive reinforcement, he’s already making great progress.Cricket is mostly potty-trained and house-trained, and he knows which toys are his to play with. He’s both food and toy-motivated, making him an excellent candidate for continued training. Cricket would do best in an active home that can give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Long walks or runs, regular playtime, or even some hiking adventures would make him one happy dog. With the right guidance, this smart pup will blossom into a well-mannered, loyal companionCricket may be a bit too exuberant for very young children, but he’s lived with older kids before and loves to play with them. He also enjoys the company of other dogs who love to play. Since his play style can be a little rough at times, he’d likely do best with another young, energetic canine friend. Cricket will need a home without cats.If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog who’ll bring joy and energy to your life, Cricket might just be your perfect match! Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. Story
Mozze is an inquisitive and energetic young dog who’s ready to find his forever home! Mozze has been in a foster home the last several weeks, and is learning manners with both dogs and humans, as well as foundational skills to help him live his best life!Mozze loves to play fetch, go for long walks, play chase with other dogs, and never says no to belly rubs! He is learning to read social cues from dogs and to politely sit for his meals and greeting humans. He would do well in a home that can give him an hour of active play or exercise daily. A confident active adult dog buddy seems to boost his confidence. He likes kids, and would do well with kids school age and up due to his energy level. His house training is coming along, he’s able to be kenneled in the kitchen for a few hours without accidents, and he sleeps overnight in a crate without accidents. He does need to be let out consistently during the day to keep him accident free. Mozze may bark briefly when first crated, but he’s improving as he learns the routine. With consistency and patience, he’s showing how adaptable and eager to please he can be.Mozze is a smart boy who loves learning his cues and using polite behavior to ask for what he wants. He would love to continue his skills training in his new home, and will do best in a home that can provide consistency, patience, love and ongoing mental and physical stimulation. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.- Applications can be downloaded from our website.
