Story
Indy is an energetic 8 year ild female who loves to cuddle and play fetch. She is a great ball dog and will play fetch until she drops. Good in the car, and will go to the bathroom on a leash with no problems. She can sleep loose and sleep in bed with you or will sleep in her kennel. She enjoys walking and hiking. She gets along with other dogs but prefers to be in a single dog household. She gets along with kids but would do best in a home without small babies/toddlers. No allergies or health issues that we are aware of.

Story
Hey there! My name is Pork Chop! I am handsome boy that was surrendered to the shelter because I wasn't getting along with the other dog in my home and being overprotective. Because of this, I would need to be the only fur baby in my future home! I am fairly friendly with children, but I would prefer only older kids because of my protectiveness for my person. A home that doesn't have frequent visitors would also be preferred! I am so much fun though and will keep you endlessly entertained! I am very strong and high-energy, so I would need someone that is willing to give me the exercise that I need! If you are going to take me for walks, it would be best for me if I walked somewhere that doesn't have a lot of activity or other dogs around because I do get reactive and pull on the leash. While I do have a lot of energy, I do like to settle down and get belly rubs or take a nice roll in the grass! I would really benefit from some training classes to help me be the best dog I can be! I had a hard time in the shelter when I first came in, and I was so fortunate to have someone that was willing to give me a foster home for a short while! I was able to relax and show my true self. They loved me dearly, but we all knew going into it that it was only going to be temporary. Now I am back, my anxiety coming back as well. I am really hoping I can find my forever home soon because shelter life is not for me! Please come to meet me so I can show you how awesome of a boy I can be! Story
Hi friends! Piggy here! I am a sweet and fun little lady that was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter because my brother and I did not get along in the home. As sad as that is, I am ready to start fresh and find my new forever home! I love people - kids included! I do well with them and would be a great family dog! I would need to be your only fur-baby though since I tend to be reactive towards most dogs and tend to lunge after cats. I promise that I will be worth it though and give you all the love in return! I am a bug cuddle bug and just crave human attention! I also love to go on walks and play around in the grass! I am a very well-rounded girl! I do sometimes pull and react towards other dogs when I am on my walks, so please be patient with me and be willing to work with me on this! When there are no other dogs around, I walk like a dream! I would love to be your new best friend! Come meet me here at the shelter and see if we may be a perfect match! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 51.4 Age: 1yrs 10mths 0wks

Story
Hey, Merlin here! I may not actually be a wizard, but I can still make your life magical! I am an energetic boy that has just had terrible luck finding my forever home. I've been brought to the shelter a few times in the last year or so for one reason or another, and unfortunately, no home ever really stuck. The main thing that people had a hard time with my energy level and anxiousness with lots of commotion. I prefer a quiet yet active home, and my previous ones did not fit that. I am a good boy - very smart too! I just need someone that is willing to work with me on basic training. I am young yet, so it may just take some time and patience while I grow out of my puppy tendencies that I still have. I am a hound, so be prepared to deal with some barking, but let's be honest, that's kind of a package deal with my type of breed! I have lived with other dogs in my previous homes, and for the most part, I did well with them. However, some dogs here at the shelter do overwhelm me. I would need to be properly introduced to any new dogs that I would potentially share my home with in the future. I also lived with cats in the past but did have a tendency to chase them at times. I am a bit jumpy and mouthy when I get overexcited, so it would probably be best for me if I shared my home with older children if any. I am friendly with all people, but I just may be a bit much for some. Think we may be a good match? Ask to meet me at the shelter and find out! Story
Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young and handsome husky that was surrendered to the shelter because I didn't get along with the cat in the home. I was adopted out and unfortunately returned not long after for being too hyperactive. That being said, I've found myself homeless again and am searching for my new forever home! I have lived with kids in the past, and I am very friendly with them, but I am a jumpy and mouthy boy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with older kids that are used to being around high-energy dogs. I love to go for walks and play in the yard, and I also enjoy getting pets and attention from time to time as well! I have A LOT of energy and really need a home with a land or a fenced-in yard preferably! I also will need some serious work on my manners when it comes to jumping and being mouthy. I have not really grown out of my puppy antics yet, so I could use some training for sure! Experienced dog owners are a must for me, and I will need lots of time and patience adjusting to home life again. I have lived with other dogs in the past, so there may be a dog out there that I could share my home with given it is a good fit. Staff and volunteers give me as much love as they can here, but I would really love to have a home of my own again where I can run and play to my heart's content! Could that be with you? I would love to meet you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 77 Age: 1yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
Hey there! Ryan Reynolds is my name, but you probably already knew that. I have unfortunately had a rough go if it when it comes to finding that right fit - I was adopted out twice but returned not long after because they didn't understand that I am what you call a "project dog". I then was adopted out another time, and man, was I thriving with them... until I wasn't. They really worked with me to be the best dog I could be, but umltimately, the children in my home were my downfall. I was friendly with them at first, but over time, the loud noises, kid's toys, and commotion was all just too much for me. I started to develop some protectiveness of my main caretaker and it was a concern for them. So I have now found myself here yet again. First-time dog owners would most likely not be a good fit for me. I have my flaws and quirks, as all dogs do, but mine do require a little more extra effort and patience to work through. I am so so smart and eager to learn, which is why I would be a perfect fit for someone who is willing to train and work with me to be the best dog I can be! I love going on hikes and exploring my surroundings, and I am a great walker once I get into a groove! I do have some resource guarding tendencies with high-value treats and bones, but as long as you give me my space while I eat, it is something that is easily managed! Because of my history with this, I need to be in a kid and animal-free household. My ideal home? Quiet, experienced, patient, and looking for an absolute best friend. I can promise you that I will be your protector, confidant, cuddle buddy! I really need to find my forever home - this shelter life is not for me! Are you willing and able to take me home and work on this "project dog"? I promise I will give you all the love in return!
