Story
Adora-bull! That's how we'd describe Iliana, (Lily) our beautiful Staffordshire Terrier mix. She'd love to join your family! Lily is looking for an experienced dog owner to provide structure and snuggles! She'd do best in a home without kitty-cats as she likes to give chase and play! Lily does well with most dogs, when given a proper and slow introduction. She is a little wary of newcomers, but blossoms quickly when allowed patience to adjust on her terms. Lily loves to bestow sloppy doggie kisses upon her favorite caretakers. She just enjoys human company! Lily would excel in a home with a fenced yard so can chase after toys to her heart's content. If you're a seasoned dog owner with patience and love to spare, please fill out an online adoption application! We know this adora-bull girl is adopta-bull! Lily is currently located at our Sanctuary near Marion, WI where any meet and greets with Lily would take place!

Story
Do you know what the best color is? It's Blue! (At least we think so!) ;) Blue is a friendly, playful, loving Hound dog who enjoys going for runs and lounging on the sofa. If Blue's hanging on the couch with you, he's a happy fella. If you took him for a walk or a run first, he's a very happy fella! Blue knows commands such as sit, stay, drop, and "leave it." He listens well and has very nice manners. Blue is a low-key dog. He doesn't need a ton of affection and attention- he just enjoys being near his people. He is a loyal friend and his happy personality is contagious. You can't help but smile back at that adorable hound-doggie grin. Blue is house trained and crate trained, although he does just fine when he is left alone. Blue would thrive in a home as the only pet. He would also prefer a home with older children or no children, as the high-pitched sounds and quick movements of little ones make him nervous. If you'd love a walking buddy and a lounging buddy, please submit an online adoption application for Blue! Blue is currently located at our Sanctuary near Marion, WI where any meet and greets with Blue would take place!

Story
Meet Otie! This beautiful girl is all L-O-V-E! Otie loves to be near her people, whether it's just hanging out in the same room or cuddling close during the day or snuggling up at bedtime. She is a very sweet dog who loves to sit on your lap and bestow soft kisses on her people. Otie is a fun girl with a silly personality. She enjoys time with her toys, going for walks, playing with other dogs (she LOVES her playgroup!) and calmly watching the world outside through a window. Otie's one peculiarity- she is not a happy camper when ceiling fans are on. :( We're not certain what happened to cause so much anxiety to them, but if you're able to use central-air and leave those ceiling fans OFF, Otie will be very happy and so grateful. If you'd like to meet this sweet and friendly, loving and awesome girl, please apply online for Otie! Otie is currently located at our Sanctuary near Marion, WI where any meet and greets with Otie would take place!

Story
Meet Chip! This handsome guy may start off a bit shy, but with a proper introduction and a slow approach, he quickly warms up to friendly strangers and loveeeessss being petted. In his foster home, Chip gets along well with multiple other dogs and has even been around older children. He's a good companion on a leash and loves walks. He finds comfort in his kennel for security when needed. During the day when you're away, it's essential to crate him as it helps ease his anxiety. This dude is a bundle of energy, always on the go, and is learning to play with toys. He particularly enjoys a game of chase in the yard, although his neurological damage can make him a bit uncoordinated at times. Therefore, it's advisable to have older children and non-reactive dogs in the household, as he might accidentally bump into them. Chip's personality shines through as sweet, energetic, vocal, and incredibly loyal. He's known to make his foster mom laugh, especially when his legs take on a comical "lobster legs" appearance during playtime. Chip is highly intelligent and is still learning about love and trust. He thrives in an environment that allows him to be his quirky self and understands that there are certain things he'll never grow out of. At the same time, he benefits from gentle guidance when needed. He'd be best suited for a home with a big yard, dedicated people who have time to spend with him, and perhaps a dog or two willing to engage in a game of chase. Patience and encouragement are essential to help him explore the world and realize it's not a scary place. One of Chip's standout qualities is his unwavering loyalty. He quickly forms strong bonds and has shown this with his foster mom. He's a bit fearful of fireworks and thunderstorms and should be kept indoors during such times. He's also working on overcoming his fear of the vacuum. But fear not.. the lawn mower is far from scary he loves being outside so much that it does not bother him one bit. Chip's future family should be patient and understanding, recognizing that his condition is a permanent aspect of his personality. Importantly, it doesn't hinder him in any way, and he experiences no pain. Chip is a truly special boy with a unique gait that only adds to his charm. His happy-go-lucky attitude and sweet spirit make him an exceptional companion.

Story
Shaw is an energetic, fun-loving goofball who’s always ready for action! He’s house-trained and totally cool hanging out in his crate or chilling at home when left alone. But don’t let that fool you—this guy has energy for days and loves to play, play, play! Squeaky toys? Yep! Fetch? Absolutely! If you’re not throwing the ball, don’t worry—he’ll just drop it at your feet and patiently (or not-so-patiently) wait for you to get the hint. Shaw is great with smaller dogs and loves having a little buddy to romp around with! He can be a bit nervous around larger dogs, so he’d need some time and positive introductions to feel comfortable. When it comes to people, he’s good with kids of all ages, he does have a playful, bouncy energy so kids who can keep up with his zest for life would be best. He’s currently living with a 9- and 13-year-old and having a blast! Meeting new people? Shaw can be a little cautious at first, but bring out the treats, and you’ll be best friends in no time! Once he knows they’re cool, he’s all about the love (and the licks—LOTS of licks). When he’s getting pets, he’ll even wrap his paws around your arm like a big ol’ hug! Walks? He’s got those down, though he’s still figuring out that strange noises and unfamiliar objects aren’t out to get him. At the end of the day, once he’s burned off all that energy, he crashes hard and sleeps like a champ. If you’re looking for a funny, playful, and endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you moving and laughing, Shaw is your guy!
