Story
Age: 5 years old Weight: 40 pounds Breed: Unknown Gender: Female Only pet in the home Sleeps all night in her crate Loves doggie daycare Wants to be in the action all the time Loves being outside in the sunshine Blossom would need to be the only dog (sorry, no kitty cats or dogs) and there could be some kids 10+ who are skilled in the art of belly rubs and snuggling. She is a champ in her crate and is a fan of doggie daycare, where she has made many friends, both canine and human. If you need a bed buddy, she's your gal but she would happily sleep in her crate too. She can be left to free roam during the day, she does not chew on items that she knows are not hers. She is an adult dog and knows to do her business outside. Blossom is only 5 years old, and yet she has some weakness in her tail end and some arthritis in her knees. These conditions are responding amazing well to a daily dose of meds, which are very affordable. She does stairs and jumps on the couch for snuggles with no struggle at all. If you're in the mood for some couch time, just let her know and she'll jump right up to join you. Show her a leash and she's ready to go for a stroll through the neighborhood. Blossom is a happy go lucky gal that wants so desperately to please her humans. Please apply below and give yourself a chance to meet our happy-go-lucky Blossom. She is waiting patiently for her forever family with optimism and a never-ending smile on her face.

Story
Age: 3 Weight: 30 pounds Breed: Unknown has the sweetest good morning greetings for his people loves getting belly rubs toys are one of his favorite things, if they have squeakers even better! does like to play with other dogs and does ok with cats, but he needs to have his own space in the home as well. need to be only adults in the home, calling any single folks looking for a furry companion! fully crate and potty trained, Jack has no problem putting himself for a nap in his crate does need a home with dog experience, he can be a strong willed low rider and needs good boundaries; we all know that he’s cute but he needs someone who won’t give in to his big brown doe eyes. needs to live in a home, he is not an apartment kinda guy comes fully equipped with stubby little legs, but that does not slow him down, he loves going out for a long walk or run. Jack is a whole lot of sweet and sass rolled into one medium sized package. The biggest issue Jack is working on is resource guarding; he typically guards his food and his favorite people. We have a training plan in place but he would need continued support and consistency in an adoptive home as well. If you are interested in Jack, please apply.

Story
Age: 9 months old Weight: 64 pounds Breed: Unknown Gender: Male “My name is Brennan and I am brave”. This is who I am, but also my mantra. I recently arrived from Tennessee and the transition has been a little stressful. It takes me some time to figure out that new people aren’t scary. I’ve had a lot of nice folks with pockets full of treats coming to visit me and because they’ve been patient with me, I’ve shown them my goofy and loving side. Want to have a nice snuggle on the couch? Count me in! Want to watch me toss a toy around by myself? I’m there for that too! I would just love a home with another playful pup that I can race around with and then take a snooze. Walks and car rides are pretty great, I can sniff around new areas and sometimes go to fun places like doggy daycare. I can hang and sleep in my crate like a champ. And I know that to go outside to go potty. Recently I learned how to “sit” and “lay down”...with the help of treats of course. A forever home for me would keep this learning going and teach me other tricks. I’m told my family will need patience as well since it can take me some time to warm up. But let me tell you that I’m just the biggest sweetheart and am well worth the patience!

Story
josie-not a member of josie and the pussycats Age: 1 year Weight: 70 pounds Gender: Female Breed: Unknown This (not so little) ball of energy comes to us locally. She does well with people and kids of all ages. Dogs are friends, but cats are foes. She would thrive in a home with doggie siblings and family who will keep up with this active girl! If you love walks, going on random car rides, hanging out with other dogs, or being out in nature, this girl will be by your side every step, or seat, on the way! Vacuums are said to be a sworn enemy of hers. Distracting her with some of her favorite things should do the trick; especially if there are treats involved! Speaking of being treat motived, Josie is working on walking on a leash without pulling; especially when there are other critters around; she wants to know what they are all about! Josie is also well on her way to being fully housetrained. She knows her name and has mastered the sit command. Her foster says that although this girl can go- go- go, she also knows the joys of relaxing. She loves a good lap to sit on and cuddling is one of her favorite things. If you are looking for a little bit of everything wrapped in the sweetest package, Josie is it!

Maddy - The Goodest Girl AGE: 5 years old WEIGHT: 30 pounds BREED: Can I Get Closer Snugglebutt GENDER: Female This gentle soul comes to us to share her love. She does well with older kids and adults. She has not been exposed to younger kiddos…yet. She enjoys the company of little dogs and cats (after she is done playfully chasing them). She knows her name, to sit, and to come. She is fully house trained. Maddy is learning that her crate is not a scary place to be, she settles pretty quickly. When it comes to food, she likes to have space to eat and drink. No sharing for this girl! She may be 5 years old, but Maddy is still a spunky gal! She enjoys playing outside, going on walks, and playing with her toys. After a busy day of staying active, you can find her enjoying some quiet time snuggling with her people. Her foster mom describes her as being a playful social butterfly who loves all people, especially if they have an open lap for her to climb up on! Her ideal home would be with a family that would enjoy taking her on walks, allowing her on the furniture with them and cuddles daily. Maddy would do great with a doggie sibling or being the only dog. Maddy will show you her appreciate through affection, kisses, and tail wiggles. What more could you want!

Story
wally - I’m your new bestie AGE: 5 months old WEIGHT: 25 pounds BREED: Pupcupper Pounder GENDER: Male This handsome little man is Wally! He digs kids of all ages, as well as adults. He may be small, but Wally enjoys the company of pups of all sizes and cats! Wally is a pup that will need time to adjust to new people, but don’t let this deter you. He is easily bribed with treats. Once he has established that you are his person (people), he is a loyal loving little guy! Some of Wally’s favorite things include being outside, going for walks, playing with other doggie friends, car rides, and toys! After a full day of fun, he likes to enjoy his quiet times as well. Wally is working hard at mastering potty training along with crate training. His foster mom says that he does well with both at times, but can protest going into his crate. After realizing that his crate isn’t a scary place, he will settle himself down. But don’t leave him in there too long, this social butterfly does not enjoy being by himself for too long! This sweet boy will do well in a home where he has other puppy siblings to play with, humans that will enjoy talking on him on walks, and then cuddling on the couch afterwards. His foster mom says that he is a curious playful pup who loves to find a lap to relax on! If you are in the market for an adventurous and affectionate best friend, Wally is your man!
