Marshmallow was adopted as a young puppy over 9 years ago along with Elsa. As seniors, the girls find themselves needing a home again as their family dynamics have changed. Their human dad passed, requiring more long work hours away from home and leaving them alone more than is fair. In an effort to reduce the transitions they must go through, we’re hoping a forever family will be out there so that they can go from current home to forever home. Ideally they could go together, but we recognize this may not be possible and would also consider loving single homes for each dog. Story

Dime is living in a foster home near Milton, Wisconsin. Dime is a 10 year old American Water Spaniel who was surrendered to our rescue. Sweet and sensitive, this fella has had a few transitions in his life and is ready for a retirement home to be cherished and loved. Dime received the Paddy’s Paws premier vet package with a full work up. He’s currently about 20 pounds overweight at 61 pounds, so we wanted to ensure he doesn’t have any underlying conditions that needed to be addressed. Thankfully, his tests all came back normal so he just needs a healthy diet and exercise to feel and look his best! He’s only just arrived to foster but he is said to be housetrained, good with dogs of all sizes, playful, and loyal. Interested in adoption? Samantha is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Samantha is a tender-hearted girl who recently came into rescue as a local owner surrender, thanks to a kind family who helped her out of a difficult situation and connected her with the support she needed. She’ll be receiving a full health check and complete veterinary workup in early December to ensure she starts her new chapter feeling her best. In her foster home, Samantha is already showing her sweet spirit—she loves being outdoors, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is bravely warming up to all the humans she meets. She even liked the car ride to her foster home! With her gentle nature, soft coat, and good leash manners, Samantha is quickly proving what a special companion she will be for her future family. He struggles with visitors and needs a home that can work with this and be consistent with the boundaries bulldogs need. He’s a lovable lump, but becomes a bossy bouncer to those he’s not sure should be admitted into his house. Greg has experienced IVDD as many frenchies do, so a home that has one level would help Greg keep his back safe. He can live with other dogs who won’t play rough with him or challenge him to do more than his potato body should. Frenchie are not beginner dogs so someone who knows and understands the breed is a must. Being a frenchie, preference will be given to those who are committed and experienced with this breed.
