Story
Reggie is a very sweet and cuddly boy. He has been with me since before I had my daughter and is very good with babies and kids. He does not need to be kenneled but sometimes chooses to use it by himself so definitely doesn’t mind it. Outside he has either been on a cable or worn an electric collar. He was attacked by a large male dog when he was a puppy and then again when he was still young so he has always been a little tense and defensive around male dogs but is good with females. Overall he is pretty chill but gets excited to meet new people. It breaks my heart to find a new home for him but unfortunately I will be starting a second job soon and I want him to have all the love and attention he deserves.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Meet Emma! Emma has already been to several homes in her lifetime. She is a very loyal dog, and will become your shadow, she loves any human she comes into contact with. She does have separation anxiety which has caused her to jump gates or fences to be with her people. However she has good recall and has never ran off from her previous homes. She walks well on the leash, but she needs an experienced handler, since she will test you to see what she can get away with. Emma is the biggest cuddler and very tolerant with children, however due to her size, she may inadvertently knock them over. She does ok with cats but can get a bit nosey with them. She does not do well with small farm animals such as rabbits and chickens. Emma is a bit selective when it comes to dogs - she has lashed out at other dogs in the home out of jealousy.

Story
Hey everyone, do you remember Avicci? Avicci has come back to us, he was showing protective tendencies in the home and he was having trouble adjusting to the home. Despite this, he is loving life. Avicci is a very special dog; and is without a doubt, a staff favorite. This guy is so expressive and can steal anyone’s heart with his goofy antics. Avicci does have issues with strangers in the home. A trainer would absolutely be a must in his new home. He has so much potential for a family that can give him that. Unfortunately, Avicci would not do well in a home with small animals/dogs. He has been exposed to other dogs in his last home and did well, but we would encourage a slow introduction. Avicci does have some skin issues, which are treated with medicated baths and Zyrtec, it seem’s to flare up in the summer months. Avicci is 8 years old and neutered. We won’t give up on Avicci - this guys family is out there 🐾

Story
Mooshu, came to us as a stray and he is ready for his new home! Mooshu is a very active boy, we have learned that if left alone (in our yard) Mooshu will jump the fence to find staff. He does well as long as there is a ball, and a staff member outside with him. This happy guy, would love to get out of the shelter! Mooshu LOVES fetch, although he is still working on the "drop it" aspect of the game.
