Meet Stella Corrinne! Stella came to ECCHA as a surrender and is ready to find a quiet home to call her own. We have found that Stella needs to be the only dog in the household, she just wants all the love and attention on her! Stella is a very sweet girl that does well meeting new people but may be a little shy at first. She is very nervous in the shelter with all the loud dogs, we hope she can find a home before the holidays! Stella is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Part of her adoption fee was generously sponsored by a friend of her previous owner! Her remaining fee is $50. Please fill out an application to meet this cutie!

Story
Meet Gimli! His foster mom has nothing but good things to say about this gentle giant:Gimli the dog is eager to connect with a new family! He`s a 7-year-old large mix, weighing 95 pounds, and requiring an active lifestyle and confident leader. Gimli guards the front door but transforms into a cuddle buddy once you`ve gotten past his bark and earned his trust. He`s perfect for families with kids, responds well to women but will need to be the only dog in the house. Rescued from neglect and abuse, he still loves playtime, car rides, walks, his tennis ball, and is completely house-trained. Watch out for his joyful tail wag! Gimli is up to date on his vaccinations and will be microchipped on his adoption day. He is already neutered as well. His adoption fee is sponsored by Citizens State Bank! Please fill out an application to meet this lovely guy!

Story
Meet Johnny! Johnny was transferred to us from another shelter. He is a very friendly boy who loves people and gets along well with other animals. He even knows some basic commands! Johnny is not the best fit for a home with no dogs and no small children (16 years or older). Even though he gets along with most other dogs, we have learned that he likes his space and family to be his and his only! Johnny went on a little daycation and this is what the volunteer has to say about him `He loves his plant friends, indoor or outdoor, so much so he will mark it as his own. He does well walking, at first he will pull hard but once he gets his energy out he walks well with his person. He is a big fan of stuffed toys and playing tug of war with his person. He did well in the car ride and sat nice in the front seat.` Johnny is up to date on his vaccinations and is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee was generously sponsored by a member of the community! Please fill out an application to meet Johnny! Adopt, Foster, Educate, Advocate!

Story
Meet Nemo! Nemo came to us from a transfer situation. He was a little funny looking, as he was missing a paw. Unfortunately, it was cut off in an attempt to help him after the paw was run over. Luckily, our Veterinary team was ready to perform surgery and said to bring him to us. Our Veterinarian decided the best course of action was to amputate up to the shoulder, to mitigate the possibility of infection and to prevent issues down the road. Nemo was a total trooper, and he has recovered very well! He can be a bit shy and nervous in new situations, but he is a lover at heart! This very good boy does well with cats and can even handle stairs and long walks on his 3 legs! He will need to go to a home with no other animals. Nemo is up to date on his vaccinations, is microchipped, and is neutered. His adoption fee was sponsored through generous donations from our community! Please fill out an application to meet Nemo! Story
Meet Champ! Champ was one of 6 dogs that we took in from the affected areas after Hurricane Helene. These dogs were in shelters prior to the devastating storms and were evacuated from regional shelters to make room for the incoming influx of displaced animals. Many shelters in the storm’s path have been completely destroyed and had no place to go with the animals who were in their care when the storm hit. It’s a desperate situation, but we’re glad some of these animals are finding refuge in Wisconsin. Since these dogs are so new to our shelter, our caretakers are still getting to know them, but all of the dogs we took in have been very friendly toward our staff! We don’t know how they are with other dogs, so we will require a dog to dog meet and greet before adoption if you already have a dog at home. We ask that you practice a slow introduction to any cats in your household as we are unsure how they do with their feline friends. All of these rescued dogs are up to date on their vaccinations, microchipped, and were altered before being transferred here, so Champ`s adoption fee is $195. Please fill out an application to meet Champ! Adopt, Foster, Educate, Advocate!
