Story
Layla is 36 lbs and 5-6 years old and also high energy! She loves to chase balls, but needs a few lessons on retrieving. She'll nose you to get you off the couch to play, and will bark at you until you pick up a ball and throw it. This girl is also a fan of belly rubs, which she will reward with kisses. She has a herding instinct, which has mellowed a bit in the past couple of months. She also will need a home without children, cats and small critters. She needs a bit of time to get to know new people and dogs, and we are working with our vet on this. Layla is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls. Story
Laika is 36 lbs and 3-4 years old. This sweet girl loves chasing and often retrieving balls in the house and outdoors. She loves to sniff around off-leash in a fenced back yard. Turn on your garden sprinkler and she will be entertained and exercised. Laika initiates belly runs and gives kisses to her foster mom as a thank you. Laika is more dominant than Layla and has a strong herding drive, so we recommend a home with no children, cats or small critters. She's a little nervous meeting new people and dogs, which we are working on. Laika is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls. Story
Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! My name is Charlie. I am approximately 2 years old, weigh about 59 pounds and I look like an Irish Wolfhound Mix. 🐕I’m staying in Woodstock, IL while I search 🔎 for my Fur-Ever home. 🏡 A place where the humans will ALWAYS love me, 🥹 make me feel wanted and give me lots of attention !! I LOVE ❤️ attention ! 🥰I am good with other Dogs. 🐕 I LOVE ❤️ younger humans …although because of my size (whatever that means ??) it might be best if the younger humans are NOT 🚫 too little. I have been accused of not realizing just how big I am. 🙄 I haven’t been around Cats, 🐈 so I’m not sure how I would do with them ? 🤔I am good about doing my business outside 🚽💩 …as long as I am kept on a schedule. I also do very well walking on a leash. 🦮 When outside, it would probably be best if my new home has a fenced in yard so I’m not tempted to wander. When it’s time to settle in for the night, 🥱 I sleep like a good boy in a crate. 😴If you think we could be a Fur-Ever Family, ❤️ please apply to adopt me using the link below. I AM up to date on all my age appropriate shots, neutered and microchipped ! The fee for my adoption is $450. http://www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
Is she listening intently? Waving hello? Is she part unicorn!?!? No, it’s Chiquia (aka Bailey) and her cute ears! Unless she’s resting, you’ll see one ear standing up and the other one down!Chiquia (aka Bailey) is about 5 months old, around 8.5 pounds and looks like a Terrier mix. She is working very hard on all the puppy things: she is crate trained and is learning to walk on a leash. She even does a great job at going to the bathroom outside if taken out regularly. She likes kids and other dogs, but isn’t sure what to think about cats yet - she has decided that chasing them will help her figure them out. 😉Chiquia also has long legs and a great gallop which works well when she goes outside and has her zoomies! Don’t worry though, Chiquia (aka Bailey) is not 100% puppy mode all the time! Her foster family says she’s a perfect balance between puppy playfulness and knowing when it’s time to relax! She does need a little time to warm up to new faces, but once she does …she’ll be looking for pets and cuddles. Chiquia also likes routine, is food motivated and is a fast learner. She has been protective over her food, but she is taking redirection very well!Chiquia is a great companion and would love to find her forever family! She is up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots, is microchipped, spayed and is currently staying with her foster family in Kenosha, WI. Her adoption fee is $500.If you think Chiquia would be a good fit for your family and are interested in being considered to adopt her, please fill out the application below! www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
You wouldn’t believe that anyone could just throw 2 adorable puppies into a dumpster like trash… 🗑️ but that’s where Clover & Cassidy’s story started. These 2 southern belles were saved from a dumpster and brought here 🚐 to Wisconsin, where they can literally find greener pastures! Sisters Cassidy & Clover are some of the friendliest gals 🎀 you’ll ever meet! They look like they are Australian Cattle dog and/or hound dog mixes. Cassidy especially has a beautiful 😍 sleek coat and markings like a hound. She is 5 months old and weighs around 25 pounds. Cassidy is being fostered in central 📍 Wisconsin and has an adoption fee of $500. She is scheduled to be spayed on November 4th and will be available for adoption shortly after. She is microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate shots. 💉Cassidy is the most carefree 🦋 and playful young lady you’ll ever meet! Even though she hasn’t grasped the concept of bringing toys back after throwing them for her, she still enjoys running around with her favorite stick toy… and playing keep-away. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s a good thing she can be bribed with treats! Speaking of treats, 🦴 Cassidy will come when called and sit for one of her favorite snacks. She is both kennel and potty trained but is still working on how to be more proper when on a leash… she just prefers to be running free, probably so she can chase those gosh darn chickens! 🐓 Although she likes to chase the chickens, she doesn’t harm them. Cassidy makes much better friends with cats 🐈 and other dogs. 🐶 After a long day of playing keep-away and chasing chickens, Cassidy will lay quietly in her kennel and settle in for a good night’s sleep. 😴 Her new home should have older kids, because she gets so excited to see everyone that she likes to jump. (Her foster mom wonders if she might be part kangaroo! 🦘) And we think she would benefit from having another doggie playmate as well. If you think Cassidy could bring some extra love ❤️ and energy to your life, you can apply to adopt her at:https://www.biggiepawsrescue.org DATCP #494550DATCP # 494550

Sisters Cassidy & Clover 🍀 are some of the friendliest gals you’ll ever meet! They look like they are Australian Cattle dog and/or hound dog mixes. Clover is being fostered in central 📍 Wisconsin and has an adoption fee of $500. She is scheduled to be spayed on November 4th and will be available for adoption shortly after. She is microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate shots. 💉Clover is the definition of loyal. She is very intelligent and follows all the commands her foster mom has taught her. She knows “down,” “come,” “sit,” 🪑 and “kennel.” She’s really becoming a refined young lady! Her manners have come a long way in the short time she’s been at her WI foster home. 🏡 She no longer jumps up on people… because she knows that would be rude! Playing fetch 🎾 out in the yard and getting pets 💕 from her favorite people are some of Clover’s FAVORITE things! After a good, long play session she likes to nap quietly in her kennel. 😴 Clover is still getting used to being around kids but she learns to trust quickly and would do well around children of all ages if properly introduced. She’s the same way around dogs… a little shy at first but once she gets to know them she enjoys their company! Clover has also met cats 🐈‍⬛ and chickens 🐓 and does well around them. If you think Clover 🍀 could bring some extra luck and love ❤️ to your life, you can apply to adopt her at:https://www.biggiepawsrescue.org DATCP #494550DATCP # 494550
