Story
Layla is 36 lbs and 5-6 years old and also high energy! She loves to chase balls, but needs a few lessons on retrieving. She'll nose you to get you off the couch to play, and will bark at you until you pick up a ball and throw it. This girl is also a fan of belly rubs, which she will reward with kisses. She has a herding instinct, which has mellowed a bit in the past couple of months. She also will need a home without children, cats and small critters. She needs a bit of time to get to know new people and dogs, and we are working with our vet on this. Layla is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls. Story
Laika is 36 lbs and 3-4 years old. This sweet girl loves chasing and often retrieving balls in the house and outdoors. She loves to sniff around off-leash in a fenced back yard. Turn on your garden sprinkler and she will be entertained and exercised. Laika initiates belly runs and gives kisses to her foster mom as a thank you. Laika is more dominant than Layla and has a strong herding drive, so we recommend a home with no children, cats or small critters. She's a little nervous meeting new people and dogs, which we are working on. Laika is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls. Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! My name is Charlie. I am approximately 2 years old, weigh about 59 pounds and I look like an Irish Wolfhound Mix. 🐕I’m staying in Woodstock, IL while I search 🔎 for my Fur-Ever home. 🏡 A place where the humans will ALWAYS love me, 🥹 make me feel wanted and give me lots of attention !! I LOVE ❤️ attention ! 🥰I am good with other Dogs. 🐕 I LOVE ❤️ younger humans …although because of my size (whatever that means ??) it might be best if the younger humans are NOT 🚫 too little. I have been accused of not realizing just how big I am. 🙄 I haven’t been around Cats, 🐈 so I’m not sure how I would do with them ? 🤔I am good about doing my business outside 🚽💩 …as long as I am kept on a schedule. I also do very well walking on a leash. 🦮 When outside, it would probably be best if my new home has a fenced in yard so I’m not tempted to wander. When it’s time to settle in for the night, 🥱 I sleep like a good boy in a crate. 😴If you think we could be a Fur-Ever Family, ❤️ please apply to adopt me using the link below. I AM up to date on all my age appropriate shots, neutered and microchipped ! The fee for my adoption is $450. http://www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
Ladies and gentlemen! Superheroes and villains! We’d like to introduce you to …Hulk! Hi there! Now, don’t be confused with Hulk - the big, green superhero! I am much smaller, pretty furry, definitely not green - and if you ask me, much more adorable! Yes, I am a puppy! I look like a mish-mash of many breeds. I am about3 months old, and around 10 pounds.Unlike the angry Incredible Hulk you may be familiar with, I’m a pretty good-natured, affectionate pup who loves to play! I get along with other superheroes …I mean, animals (not sure about those small humans yet)! My favorite games are chasing and playing - I’ll bark to tell you I’m ready to play, but otherwise I usually don't have much to say. 🙂 I am working on all the puppy things - (including getting some new teeth in) with my foster family like potty-training and my puppy bites that come along with teething. So, this is a little embarrassing to admit - especially with a name like Hulk to live up to - but here it is … I might be a little scared of my leash - there have been times when I saw it and ran away to hide. I’m also a little nervous when humans call me to ‘come’. I’m sure you can understand, some things are just a little new and scary at first! As you can imagine, all this business of being a puppy can be tiring! When I'm ready for a nap, or to settle down for the night, I’m pretty content snoozing anywhere! I’ll sleep in my crate (not my favorite, I’ll just cry a little at first), on the floor or cuddled up next to my human in the bed (maybe my favorite)! I can’t wait to find my fur-ever family. We can keep working on my puppy-skills and have great adventures together! Hulk is currently being fostered in Burlington, Wisconsin and is available for adoption for a fee of $500. He is microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on all his age-appropriate shots. If you are interested in being considered to adopt him, please fill out the application in the link below.https://www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! It’s me …Dakota ! I am STILL in Kenosha, WI waiting for my Fur-Ever Family to come get me. 🥹 I am a sweet 💕 girl that’s about 6 months old now, I weigh approximately 19 pounds and I look like a Chihuahua Mix.I am very shy at first with new humans. ☺️ Once I get comfortable though, I am the biggest love bug ❤️🐛 and will lay right on top of them. I make sure to let my humans know when I want attention by following them around and jumping up …my foster Family says I am like Velcro. 🤭 Sometimes when they are sitting or laying down on the couch watching tv, I might even lay on top of them to snuggle. 🥰 I also LOVE ❤️ to be held, but when I’m being put back down …I tend to wiggle my way out of my humans arms and try to jump down on my own. 😳I LOVE ❤️ food …who doesn’t ? 😉 I may be slightly obsessive about it though, so my humans like to feed me away from the others. I am really just a goofy 🤪 girl that LOVES ❤️ to run around and play. I especially LOVE to play with other dogs 🐕 and kiddos. I have heard about cats 🐈 …but I’ve never played with them. I do ‘okay’ walking on a leash, 🦮 but can be easily distracted and often times end up walking under my humans feet …let’s face it, I’d rather have them carry me so I can be closer to them and give them kisses. 💋 I have been doing VERY well going potty 🚽💩 outside 👍🏼 - as long as my humans are consistent and timely. At the end of a long, busy day I just want to lay next to my humans and snuggle. 🥰 When it’s time to close my eyes, I sleep 😴 in a crate all through the night. Since I LOVE ❤️ to be near my humans …being invited to sleep in their bed is something I might enjoy too. ☺️If you’d like to be considered to be my Fur-Ever Family, please fill out an adoption application under the link below. My adoption fee is $500. I am up to date on my age appropriate shots, 💉 spayed and also microchipped.https://www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550
