Story
Freya was adopted from a farm as a puppy where she wasn’t taken very good care of. Freya is a little timid at first, and will bark at large men she doesn’t recognize. Freya is a very friendly, kind and extremely gentle dog. She has a lot of energy and loves running outside and would do best in a home where she can be outside a lot the get the exercise she needs. She gets along very well with other dogs, she plays exceptionally well with cats and is very gentle with children. She also loves snuggling at night time.

Story
Looking for a dog that is small but mighty? Look no further! Meet Nicodemus!Nicodemus is a 4-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Mix. Nicodemus is affectionately known around here as `Nico`! Nico is a very special boy. He is incredibly smart, food motivated, and aims to please. He would be a super fun dog for someone looking to work on training, as he picks things up very quickly. Nico`s idea of a good time is chasing his stuffed squeaky toys. Nico can be slow to warm up to new people, however once he does he will never leave your lap (Literally, good luck getting any work done with this cutie on your lap!). Nico`s ideal adopter is a quiet, patient adopter with experience with shy dogs that will give him the space, time, and love that he needs to come out of his shell with success. Nico may enjoy a home with other animals as long as slow introductions are preformed. Nico is looking for a home without young children. If you think Nico may be the one for you, fill out an adoption application on our website or get in touch with us at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com!
