Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Bertie the girl with the beautiful smile! Meet Bertie! We picked her up from animal control after her owner left her there. Bertie was in bad shape. She was skinny with her bones showing and overgrown nails. We got Bertie to the vet immediately to find out she is diabetic. She also has trouble with her vision which is probably related to her diabetes. We got Bertie started on insulin and a special diet. She is doing great. Bertie is the sweetest little girl. She is so loveable and cuddly. She is doing great with the other dogs in her home. We would like to find her a home with experience with diabetes. If you would like to be considered apply here. https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/ In the meantime we would like to ask for donations for her care. Bertie has a wish list and links for donations on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1T5ILFWIDHO7I... We have PayPal for her insulin and vet care PayPal.me/penniesforpets For more information on this animal email adoptionisforever@pethelpersinc.org. Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Oakley here, formally known as Oreo from the cookie litter last year! This year for my first birthday I am looking for my forever home! I have moved back in with my foster parents after almost a year of not being here! I am looking for my forever home now for my 1st birthday! That would be the best birthday present ever! I really like kids and wouldn't mind another dog friend my size or bigger to play with! Farm animals, and smaller animals just make me too excited to be around! I would loved a fenced in yard or someone who wants to take lots of long walks, like really really long walks. I will need an active family that can help me run out all of my energy! I walk well on a leash, and ride amazing in the car. I am crate trained and doing super awesome with house training. I love toys that keep my mind busy! I love pets and cuddles just as much as I love walks, runs, jogs, and hikes!! I am up to date on my shots, I have been neutered, on flea/tick prevention and microchipped! Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Lovely Briar was found running in the Cheat Lake area of Morgantown, WV. After attempting to find her family, she was placed with her foster family. We believe her to be a boxer mix, about 1 year and half old, 42lbs. Briar is a very sweet girl who knows several commands. She is very smart and is learning other commands quickly. She appears to be housebroken. She's not a huge fan of a crate but quiets down eventually. Briar is happiest at your side and has a wiggly butt that just wont quit. She gets along ok with dogs but shows too much interest in cats, so would need a canine only home. She has been vetted: spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated. She tested positive for lyme disease and anaplasmosis, and is on a round of doxycycline. She is heart worm negative. If you would like to make Briar apart of your forever home, please go to : https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application     Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Ok hound lovers!! Meet Cowboy!! This absolutely handsome red tick is such a good boy. He gets along great with all the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys a good romp in his foster moms fenced in yard. He is pretty strong on a leash so a fenced in yard would be best. Cowboy was part of a court case several months ago and came from a home with several other hounds. This boy is so loving and likes nothing better than to cuddle on the couch. But, get him outside and his nose will not stop for the 1st 5 minutes . Haha he has to sniff everything, Everyday! But then he is ready to play! Cowboy weighs approx 45 lbs and is a little over a year old. He is crate trained and housebroke as long as he is let out on a regular basis. Cowboy loves his person and is super loyal! If you are looking for an awesome best friend, he might be your guy. Hound experience is necessary with this handsome dude. He also like to be your alarm clock in the morning. He will let you know when he is ready to go outside and greet the world with his beautiful bayyy. Cowboy is of course neutered, utd on shots, microchipped, flea treated and has been wormed. He did test positive for lymes when he came to his foster home several months ago. But was treated with doxycycline. If you think this amazing guy might be a good fit. He is being fostered in clarksburg, wv  Click on the following link to co fill out an application for Cowboy:  http://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/   Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip.
