Story
$250 Iron Man was raised with his brother until his family moved to Mexico and couldn’t take them. Typical brothers raised together - constantly fighting. We separated them right away when they came to us, and now we can see their true personalities shining through. Iron Man is a very sweet cuddly boy, but needs time to warm up to strangers. He may bark and try to hide at first, but once you earn that trust, he wants to be right there beside you, or more preferably in your lap. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway. Story
Oliver was surrendered to us in September of 2023, so he ahs bene with us for a year and a half. He is a sweetie but needs to be kenneled when not supervised. He is kennel trained, he knows sit, off, and has a good recall. He has to be introduced slowly and intentionally to other dogs, he was raised arounds kids and his previous owner said he got along with them, but it has been awhile since he has been around any, I would imagine he would do well. Does not like rain or snow but will go out briefly. Please do not judge for breed, he is sweet and does not deserve the reputation.

Story
Mushu was dumped at a state park that we live close to, when we saw he needed help, we jumped in. He takes a lot of time to give his trust, we assume he has a background of being hurt. It is best to approach him slow or let him come to you. When he trusts you he is the sweetest and wants to lay right on your head. He does need to be muzzled for nail trims and ear cleaning, he can get mouthy. Is obsessed with socks. never introduced to children or cats.

Story
Tony was left by a river in freezing temps and we just had to step in and take him in. He has been with us since October of 2023. He is a complete sweetheart but he is a Husky, he is talkative and filled with energy. He did recently injure his leg ( vet says a sprain from zoomies most likely) and is on anti-inflammatory meds, but he is still as sweet as ever. He gets along with other dogs but doesn't necessarily play, he tends to be more aloof. Loves cuddles and toys.

Story
$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Louie is a sweet boy who has medium-high energy and is looking for a person or an adult family to love and play with! Louie was abandoned in downtown Yakima as a small puppy and has been in foster care, living with another large dog and two children (11 & 6). He became a foster fail and was adopted by his foster family, but his protective, dominant behavior has proven too much for his family. Louie is better suited in a home with adults and limited visitors. Louie loves to cuddle, chew on bones, and play chase! His favorite thing to do is go on walks with his people to sniff all the things! Louie does pretty well on a leash, with some pulling. He gets distracted by other dogs and needs an experienced owner that will give him the proper training for leash walking. With a bit more training, he would be an excellent walking/running companion. Louie doesn't know what to make of cats and chases them. Louie is a loyal boy looking for his forever home with people who will love him well! He knows his job is to guard and protect, so a family with limited visitors, and owners that train him well will best suit him. He will need a bit of time to warm up to new people. The initial meet and greet may take a little while while he gets used to you. EXPOSURE TO CHILDREN: young children and teens RECOMMENDATION FOR CHILDREN: he is best suited in a home without children (due to the children having friends over). Louie LOVED the children in his previous home, but was protective when the kids had friends over. Story
Imani (E-Mon-E) was brought to us summer of 2023, she had been abandoned and we agreed to take her in. She is timid at first and often barks at new people until she knows she can trust them. She is a ballerina and loves to dance around. She is friendly with other dogs but definitely likes to be in charge. She is older and I think that is the main reason she hasn't been adopted, but make no mistakes she is still full of spirit and life, she can be very puppy like. has not met kids or cats
