Story
Benzo is an excitable guy that needs training and patience. He comes to us like so many of our dogs, from a family with no time for a big dog. He is described as active, friendly, independent, protective, playful, and affectionate. He is said to be house broken and will stand at the door when he needs to go potty. He will bark and get very excited when strangers come to the door. He enjoys a great back scratch. He has lived with children and a small dog. He will chase a car if given the chance. This guy is looking for a fenced yard, a family with time for him and someone willing to consistently work with him.

Story
Nelson is a 7 year old affectionate, curious, energetic, sweet boy. He loves snuggling under a blanket with or without you present, chasing a ball, and going on short walks in good weather. He is highly food motivated and trainable, knows sit and is working on stay, up (dance), up up (jump up), and recall. He warms up to strangers quickly with a trusted person. He doesn`t bark inside, except to alert when someone is walking up to the door.He does have fear reactivity, particularly with being handled/lifted without his consent. He has bit with non- broken skin when being picked up by the vet and will react if he thinks a stranger is going to sit on him under a blanket. He is currently in the process of muzzle training and is responding well. He is scared of cars on walks, but is easily redirected and improving with time and trust. He also sometimes has incontinence issues and goes pee inside, but is good about using a pee pad or his blanket. He would be a good dog for someone with an understanding of dog body language and a willingness to give him time to decompress and trust the person he`s with. He`s been in foster for 2 months and has picked up commands very well and gains confidence every day.

Story
Rocki is going to need a job. He is super high energy and casual walks will not be enough for this crazy guy. He wants to please and once he knows what you want from him he is a superstar. He does know `leave it` and `this way` but he needs a lot of positive training in order to harness his energy a bit. This dog requires a big fenced yard, cows to herd and a soft place to land when the work day is done. Small children and cats may not be the best for this guy.
