Story
Cosmo is a very sweet and loving boy. He loves fetch and chewing bones. He must be the only dog or have significant training. Cosmo was abandoned in the park near our home. We took him in when the temp started to drop. He was in very bad shape, infested with fleas and mange, missing half his hair, and starving. Animal control was going to put him down and we made the decision to try to keep him. He has been getting medical care and is scheduled for shots and neuter. Sadly, he has begun to have issues with our other young male dog. He has bitten him on the ears and neck, he is very possessive over toys and anything he thinks he owns. It is very sudden. We have to keep him muzzled or separated and closely supervise any time they are in the same room. This is not sustainable for us. We are looking to rehome him with to someone ready for a high energy, young dog. Cosmo needs some training on manners but is very smart and catches on quickly. He would be a great hiking partner!

Story
HI - I'M SANDY! I'm a 6-1/2-year-old sweet snuggler girl who needs a foster or forever home! I've been waiting for TWO YEARS for someone to choose me. I love to cuddle, hang out and watch TV, and go for walks, hikes, and other adventures. I do well with some dogs (I used to live in a home with a female dog), but prefer people to other dogs so I can get all of the attention. If you're looking for a snuggler, someone to share your bed and hug, I'm it! I truly am a lap dog, and I crave human attention and affection. I'm also super happy, and am just waiting for my person or people to come along. I weigh about 56 lbs. I would love a home for the holidays!

Story
MEET BEAMER! If you’ve ever wanted a 60-lb lap dog, look no further! Beamer is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet, and he loves nothing more than to curl up and fall asleep with his head in your lap (warning: he snores - but it’s a very cute snore). When he’s not trying to climb into your lap, Beamer loves to go on walks and hang out with other dogs. He currently lives with two female canine companions in his foster home in Bothell, but most recently his daily pal was a male husky mix. Beamer is also in a foster home with cats - he's curious but well-mannered. He truly wants to please. We think Beamer is around five years old, and the best guess is that he’s an American Staffordshire terrier mixed with something larger (maybe a yellow lab or a hunting dog). He has the cutest spots on his ears and the most endearing face! Beamer LOVES women... I mean, he'll attach to you like Velcro and want to be by your side always. But he'll hang out with men, too. We just know his preference. :) Once he's settled in, you couldn’t find a sweeter, more loving companion. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M STARLET, a 5-year-old adorable Chihuahua girl in need of a forever home! I weight only 7 pounds. was rescued from a California shelter, but now am in a foster home. I came out of the shelter with a possible tooth abscess (hence the cone), which we are addressing once my weight gets up, as I'm a little skinny. Right now I prefer the company of humans to other dogs, but that could change once I feel better. I will be ready for a forever home soon - so that's why I'm creating this post, so that you will consider me. I'm a darling girl who loves to be held. I will make a great cuddler and would love a quiet home. Please email for an application.
