Story
This baby really lives up to her name. She is a loving and affectionate pup looking for a family to show her love too. Sweets loves going on walks and does well on the leash. Sweets loves people but isn't a fan of sharing her people with other dogs. She will do best in a home without other pooches. Regardless, this baby is sweet (hence the name!) and gentle, yet lively and playful. If you're interested in adopting Sweets, stop on by the shelter and meet this pretty pitty today! If you have any questions you can call us at 757-365-3618.

Story
Meet Turbo! Turbo is a very loving and people oriented Pit mix, who has been at the shelter with us for some time now. Unfortunately, over time the effects of shelter life have started to take a toll on him. He loves to climb right onto your lap and get some much needed snuggles. Whether you're looking for a dog to run around the yard with and get some exercise, or a dog to snuggle up with you on the couch and watch some TV, Turbo is your guy! Turbo would thrive best in a home where he is the only pet.

Story
Meet Savannah Rose! She is a 57lb, 14month old Golden Doodle that with proper training, will be an incredible addition to the right family. Savannah has loads of energy and will need a very active family to help her burn that energy- a bonus would be a playmate of like size and energy. Due to her rambunctious personality and unknowing of her size. A home with small children , small dogs or cats would not be ideal. She isn’t mean, but rather rough! She has done great in doggie daycare, car rides and on leash in public. Use of a martingale collar will be safest while she adjust to her new surroundings. She is crate trained and potty trained. She has been spayed, UTD on vaccines, heartworm tested, and microchipped. She will come with 6 months of heartworm prevention and 30 days of pet insurance for her new owner.
