Story
We’re looking to rehome our sweet, energetic 2-year-old blue tick beagle, Penny. She’s a loving, playful pup who thrives in an active home and loves cuddling up in blankets. Penny is great with kids and other dogs, though she plays a little rough with cats. She’s food-motivated, knows sit and paw, and would do best in a home with another dog for companionship. Penny is mostly potty trained, doesn't love crates but does fine loose in the house. She's spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and on monthly flea/tick prevention. This is a very tough decision, but due to our senior dog's health and other life stressors, we want Penny to have the attention and energy she deserves. If you’re seriously interested, please reach out. Will do best in a house with a fenced in yard as that’s what she is use to & can be loud and jumps all over when owners first come back home with excitement! Please be ready to work with her on this.

Story
Lady needs a good amount of daily exercise. She loves her toys and her treats. She would be good with children who are bigger than her since she is a puppy and she likes to jump and play. She would also be good with other animals that have good energy like her because she does like to play a lot. She is almost fully potty trained, just a couple accidents here and there.

Story
Baxter is a 2 year old mix of everything at 62lbs. We adopted him from our local animal shelter as a puppy. We knew he was a handful from the very beginning. We have had many professional dog training sessions throughout the first year of ownership. He is a very smart dog but needs consistency from his leaders. He would be best in a home without children as this is where the inconsistency in his boundaries can arise and this is the main reason we have decided to rehome him. Also, he has a high prey drive and should not be in a home with cats. He will chase them. He doesn't mean any harm; he just wants to play. He is house trained, crate trained, leash walks well, and knows all basic dog obedience: sit, place, down, come (most of the time in the house, and does it sometimes outside.) He loves treats, bones to chew on, and squeaky toys. He does well with car rides (we use a leash seatbelt) and enjoys a day here and there at doggie daycare. He will thrive in the right environment.

Story
Luna was adopted in Philadelphia, PA 8 years ago and currently resides in Roanoke, VA. She's very energetic, affectionate, loving, and loyal. She was only a few months old when I got her. My family and I are deciding to rehome because our family is expanding, and we just don't have the time for her anymore. She's a great dog that needs love and attention on a regular basis.

Story
From our Kennel Staff: "Dozer is a sweet boy. He's protective of his food, rightfully so given his time spent in a shelter, but if you have him sit while pouring his food he'll politely wag his tail in anticipation. He loves tennis balls and playing fetch. After he eats dinner, he likes to slowly roll over while making eye contact— like he's asking for a tummy rub to complete his meal." Meet Dozer, the German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for belly rubs! This playful, affectionate guy is always ready for some fun, especially if it involves playing catch. Though he has a torn cruciate ligament, Dozer doesn’t let it slow him down—he still darts after the ball with boundless energy and enthusiasm. When it’s time to relax, there’s nothing he loves more than rolling over for a belly rub and soaking up all the attention. His joyful spirit and determination to keep going despite his injury are just a few of the reasons why he’s such a lovable companion. Loyal, playful, and full of heart, Dozer is the perfect friend to share both adventures and cuddle time with.
