Story
Mocha is friendly, loving, adventurous, smart and energetic. We adopted her from a shelter and she only had one owner previously. Our main reason for rehoming is our busy schedule does not allow her the outlet she needs. She would do terrificly in a high energy environment! She gets along well with the cats in our household but did need some adjusting. She loves playing with other large dogs! She is a bit of an escape artist and would probably not cohabitate well with farm animals. She needs a tall sturdy fence or a lot of work on boundaries!!

Story
Lola is a sweet, beautiful girl, who’s hypoallergenic, and doesn’t shed. She’s used to living with a big backyard and a doggie door, but she also loves to be walked on a leash. Lola is independent so I wouldn’t consider her a lap dog, but she is lovable and warms up to good people quickly. We do have an adoption fee of $350 but it’s negotiable for the right home. Her fee includes food, toys, all of her updated shots, paperwork, everything you need to move her right into you home.

Story
Mylo is an 11 year old Labrador Retriever mix. He is a very sweet, quiet, and generally well-behaved. He has past trauma and is timid at first, so it took some time for him to get comfortable. He would make a great pet for a family or anyone who is looking for a very faithful companion. I currently work very demanding hours and have been away from home for long stretches. He is very attached to his person, so he has been very stressed and is taking it out on my furniture and personal belongings. I believe that he would benefit from someone who either works from home or has a more set schedule. Otherwise, he is a very sweet boy who just wants to sit with his people in a sunny spot. He loves walks and playing with his toys. He does NOT like cats and sometimes gets testy with smaller dogs but loves making friends. Anyone interested who has other pets are free to connect with me about a meet and greet.

Story
Max is a loving and high energetic dog. Not aggressive at all love to play and loves to eat , always leash walk him. He is only 2 years of age, he is very sassy and responsive, he knows a couple tricks, he does suffer from separation anxiety, he enjoys company and music. He needs a good closed in yard to run around. And a good owner to keep company and take him out on walks and runs and play with him. A very Good Boy , just a baby . Requires a lot of supervision just in case he gets a sense of curiosity or social anxiety. But overall a good boy . Looking for a good and loving home

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pepper wants to be with her person. She’s so sweet and affectionate. She sits well, is gentle with treats, and loves to cuddle. Her current foster home has two cats, and she’s paid them no mind, though she gave the cats in her last foster home a good run for their money. We have learned that she can do well with cats--so a meet and greet with any resident cats is preferable. She gets along well with the cats in her current foster home.  Pepper is a hound mix (redbone, without the bellowing howl) and is looking for a calm place to crash. She loves to walk on a leash, enjoys a bit of freedom in the backyard, although she has the ability to clear a 4-foot fence if she wants. She gets along well with the other three dogs in her foster home since she’s very docile. If you are looking for a loyal companion, Pepper is your girl! Pepper is still a youngster and needs exercise and stimulation. We are looking for a foster or an adopter for this special girl. Her adoption fee is $200.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it. October 12, 2025, 10:31 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Enzo is an old soul who has the sweetest disposition. His eyes show his deep desire for connection with humans, and he will appreciate a patient home that will give him the months he needs to adjust. He has come so far since entering our care; he was pulled from a local shelter who rescued him from a life on his own, having very little human contact as a young puppy. Enzo trusts and loves other dogs very much and is learning not all humans wish to cause him harm. He is attached to his foster family (adults and children) and trusts them. Despite his days being full of learning new things, he has been so sweet and patient, considering everything is a new experience. Enzo initially did not like being put on a leash, but after taking long daily leash walks with his foster family, he has come to love them and walks with his tail held high. Enzo would love to have a canine companion. Enzo's pictures are deceiving. He is a petite guy at only 40lbs. Enzo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $100.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal?
