Story
My name is Tucker. I am a big, lovable, and goofy puppy. I love nothing more than to get love and cuddles from my human. I also love to play outside. I am crate trained and almost completely potty trained.I would do well in a home with another dog my size. Because I am a big puppy, I wouldn't be a good fit in a household with small children. Although I love my foster home, I can't wait to find my furever home. I am being fostered in the Huntsville, AL area but am available to the right home via transport. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. Apply at https://forrescue.net

Story
Ella being fostered in Huntsville, AL but is available for transport to an approved adopter. The approved adopter will be responsible for the costs of transport. Ella is an almost 3 years old border collie/shih tzu mix. She is around 45 pounds. Unfortunately, her owners are not able to give her and her sister Remy the time that they need. Ella is a loving and sweet girl. She is shy when first meeting new people and would either do best being adopted with her sister or with a family that has another confident dog. Ella is an energetic dog and will need an active family. She does good with children but has knocked over their young kids out of excitement, so for the safety of children we think she would do best with older kids. If you are interested in adopting Ella, please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. She is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
If you are searching for a great family pet who has the most soulful brown eyes, look no further! This gentle sweet girl is the answer and her name is Glory. Glory adores and worships kids and wants nothing more than to be near them. Her best days are spent running along side them, sitting under their chair and laying next to them as they play. She is mellow, laid back and loves being at home with her people. Glory is potty trained, knows “sit, wait, potty and go in” (come inside or go into a room). Currently, she does not use a crate, but would  revert to it easily. She sleeps in a small room with a gate simply propped at the door. A harness is used when walking her and she needs to improve on not reacting to other dogs. Not one to play with toys much ( unless taunted by another dog to tug), she loves bones, treats and kongs. At times, Glory may try to leave the house without permission. Glory has lived in a house (and yard) with a variety of visiting dogs and a “ sister”. She has no experience with cats and the barking of small dogs makes her nervous. She should not be homed with small animals. If you are looking for your new best buddy, you have found her and she’s waiting to go home with you! Glory is up to date on vaccines, h2 negative and spayed. Apply at forrescue.net

Story
Meet Coco Louise! She is a sweet and loving 5 year-old Aussie/ Border Collie mix who is looking for her forever home. Coco’s foster mom is helping her watch what she eats and get more exercise. She is currently about 63 lbs. She is the perfect companion for all ages - whether you have young children, other dogs, or cats, Coco gets along wonderfully with everyone. She is extremely affectionate! She rarely barks, making her a calm, easy-going and quiet presence in the home. She's house and crate trained, and uses her crate as a cozy resting spot. Coco enjoys walking on a leash and will stay right by your side, but she's equally happy to explore off-leash in a safe environment. One of her favorite things is to run alongside a farm or recreational vehicle She also enjoys riding in an RV or playing in the yard with kids. She's the perfect balance of energy and tranquility. If you're looking for the perfect snuggle buddy, Coco will happily sleep with you if you let her! She's ready to find a family who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. Coco is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.  If you would like to meet this beautiful girl and make her part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/  Coco Louise is located in North Alabama and available for transport to your area. Story
Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.
