Story
JAWS is a 1yr and 7 months old a really good dog. I actually rescued him from a great dane shelter in El Paso, Tx. He is very playful and funny. He is really big and thinks he is a lap dog. Loves to go on walks and runs. The reason I'm rehoming him due to the fact my new job in the military if very demanding and I don't have time to love and care for him the way he deserves.

Story
The fee is just for the large cage, if you want it. We rescued Sophia (Sophie) and she has been absolutely amazing. She is so sweet and smart. She is only territorial about her food with other pets. She is older, so she will occasionally play with puppies but she normally likes to lounge around the house. She will let them play on top of her though lol. She is definitely an outdoorsy dog. You can take her on a walk or to a trail and she will be right there with you. We even let her off the leash on trails because she listens so well.

Rocky is a pocket bully and we’ve had him since he was about 10 weeks old. He weighs around 70 lbs but lives on you like he’s a teacup. He’s a typical young adult that loves to play and is full of energy.

Story
Previous owner was a police officer who passed away and family could not take care of her so I adopted her, she is super quiet, calm and likes to lay down in front of glass door to see outside. She is very good at staying in front porch as long as its enclosed. She does run if left unleashed, she loves the outdoors but dont let go of her unleashed. I wish I had big yard with high fence, she loves to roam freely. I have heart condition and can’t give her the atrention she needs like walking her or taking her to dog parks so she can run freely. You will love her quiet misdemeanor. I think she was an emotional support dog in the past, i saw her in pictures with a vest with previous owner. warning, if you have a big yard make sure its high, she will find a way out. Also she has had veterinary care and maintenance but not up to date, we have all records.

Story
Meet Dexter! If you don't remember Dexter he was the dog found as a stray that had the one-pound tumor on his leg! He has had his surgery to get the tumor removed and he is all healed up and is looking for his furever home. He is estimated to be around 1-2 years old. He has done well with dogs he has met at the shelter but meet and greets are required if there will be other dogs in the home. He loves his people but does need training with jumping and being mouthy. He is a very silly boy that just needs structure. If you are interested in meeting Dexter the shelter is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm or you can call the shelter to schedule an appointment at 804-520-9397 ext.5

Story
Meet Ivy! This gorgeous girl is around 1-2 years old. We are unsure what she is mixed with, but we are guessing she has some husky in her due to her antics. She is such a sweet girl and SUPER energetic. She would love a family that goes to the lake, river or has a pool, she is a MAJOR water dog. She is looking for a super active family that can take her on long walks and plenty of adventures. She has done well with dogs she has met here but meet and greets are required. She would do well with children as long as she does get her energy out just due to the jumping around as she can be a wrecking ball at times. If interested in Ivy, the shelter is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm pending on if staff is in the building. You can also call the shelter at 804-520-9397 ext. 5 to set up an appointment!
