Story
A family was selling a litter of 5 week old, Boxer/Pit Bull puppies from the back of their car on a chilly, windy day. I was not looking to purchase a puppy, but felt so sorry for the smallest one, curled up in a tight ball trying to stay warm. We have a three year, 65 pound, poodle mix and thought she would be a great friend for him. We named her Jolene and she has been a great addition to our family. Unfortunately, we have had to make a life change and will not be able to keep Jolene. She is 9 months old, house broken, current on all vaccines and spayed. She loves other dogs, good with children, cats and people in general. Jolene is a very sweet girl, loves to play, is very social, and wants to make you happy.

Our pets are physically located and fostered in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to you. We have a cost effective transporter that has stops in most north eastern states. She runs every 2 weeks. Please note! Don't just apply just because she has a cheap adopt fee. You must prove you can afford to adopt regardless! I find that most of the folks who apply for my reduced fee dogs back out when they realize they are still responsible for the transport fee. If this applies to you please don't waste our time!Scarlett was born 2-1-21. Her mom was a german shepherd golden mix. We are not positive what dad was. Scarlett is active and very loving. She is good with people and ok with other dogs her size. She is too playful for small dogs. She needs a large dog only home. She is good with cats. She needs an active home with room to run. She would not do well in a cramped up apartment with no exercise. She is house trained and crate trained,This baby will go home spayed and current on vaccinations, deworming, flea preventives, started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. This pup will receive a health certificate issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all his health records with the adoption.We require a prescreen application to apply. This pup is a Catahoula mix. This pup was born 10-20-22. This pup will not be overly large. My educated guess is around 35-40 pounds at maturity. This pup is shy but warms up. This pup is great with other dogs and cats. We have started crate training and potty training. I will consider a reduced adoption fee to the right home! This pup will be current on vaccines, deworming, preventives. This pup will be micro-chipped. This pup will receive a physical and a certificate of health prior to going home.
