Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Murray is a super sweet, affectionate, fun, amazingly smart companion. He loves loves loves playing fetch, and has a blast with his toys. He is 3 years old, is trained on an e-collar and is a very fast learner. 2 free lessons from Off Leash K9 are available to whomever can give Murray a good home. (https://nrvandroanokedogtrainer.com/) Unfortunately, Murray has shown a bit of reactivity towards other animals, so cannot be in a house with other pets, and would do best with older children (7-8 years old). It is also probably best if he is with an experienced dog owner. We're incredibly sad to be rehoming Murray, but we're expecting our first child and can't take the risk. We hope he can find a home that will love him as much as we do.

Story
Laney is a 6 year old Dalmatian Pit Mix. Her birthday is May 25th. She will need special care since she is deaf. She does not let her disability stop her and behaves just like any other dog. That being said, she knows sign language for sit, lay, food, mom, dad, potty, etc. She truly is the sweetest thing, but needs to be the only dog since she has food aggression. We have made the difficult decision to rehome her since we have a baby. I would love her for to find her forever home. She is an amazing companion and a cuddle bug with very unique markings. I will be sure her shots are up to date.

Blacksburg, VA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sangria is a 3 year old AKC registered Standard Poodle. She is part of a bonded pair with another senior Poodle, Jacob. Ideally, I would like to see them go to a home together since Jacob is in his final years and I feel it would be cruel to separate them now. Due to my fathers health issues he is unable to care for them anymore. They spend most of their days outside with an indoor space, but have been inside the house, I just can't confidently say they are housebroken. Both walk well on a leash. Both are spayed/neutered and up to date on core vaccines. Both are gentle dogs, but can be timid. They are just under-exposed to most things.

Meet Maggie, the ultimate contradiction! This sweet, 4yr old Cattle Dog is the epitome of gentle giant. Rescued from a high-kill shelter, she's blossomed into a loving, cuddly companion who will steal your heart. * Unleashed Affection: Maggie is a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than to be your shadow. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and eager to please. * Gentle Soul: Don't let her breed fool you! Maggie is incredibly gentle, especially with children. She's a gentle giant who loves attention. * Work in Progress: While Maggie has made remarkable progress with socialization, she still needs a patient owner who can continue her training. She's food and dog reactive at times, but with consistent positive reinforcement, she'll continue to thrive. Maggie is looking for a special home with someone who understands the Cattle Dog breed but appreciates her unique personality. She's a perfect fit for a family with older children or a single individual seeking a loyal companion.

Story
Meet Marcie, a sweet Boxer/Lab mix who has the softest coat you will ever feel. Marcie's a well-mannered, affectionate girl, looking for a warm lap, gentle pets, and daily walks. Marcie had a rough start in life--when she was a puppy, a car hit her, breaking both of her legs. The nice vets fixed her right up (you'd never know her legs had been damaged!), and she's been in a warm, loving family ever since. Due to some changes in circumstances, she's now seeking another family to join. Marcie is about 4 years old and weighs 65 pounds. She has the cutest blonde eye lashes and warm, liquid brown eyes. She's friendly, and loves to go on car rides and meet new people, and especially loves to go shopping at Lowe's. She just a big mush! Marcie's looking for a home as an only pet--we know there a lot of those out there, so please, if you'd like to shower Marcie with love for the rest of her life, write us at pals@psknet.com for an application.
