Story
I was dropped off in the neighborhood and on a cold rainy day in January. I went to house to house and stared in peoples doors for over a week. Nobody wanted to let me in. Finally one day a nice lady took my picture peering in her front door and sent it to this rescue that took me in. FosterMom worked very hard to get me healthy and put my weight back on and complete all my vetting needs. when she takes me to Petsmart, I have to say hello to everybody there, practically dragging her around the store. I absolutely love people and love kids! I am a bit of a princess and while I don’t like to get wet or my feet muddy, I also don’t like to share my attention with other pets in the house. I am looking for a home and I can call all my own or I get all the attention and all the love I promise I will make it worthwhile and return just as much love to you. I don’t like being outside very much, but I sure do love a car ride and sit beside the car every day hoping Foster mom will take me somewhere. I have perfect house manners and I am very quiet. My foster home is very busy with a lot of dogs and so I am kept separate. I would sure love to be adopted so that I can be included instead of separated. I really miss being around my people for all their activities. I promise to snore softly in your ear if you just give me a chance. email irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application

Story
Basil & JuneBug are 18 months old and belonged to an elderly owner who became hospitalized and no longer able to care for them. For the month of December, they were left outside of this lady‘s house while friends looked for somebody to take them in. This Rescue was able to step up and add them to a very busy foster home with many other dogs where they get along very nicely. They are happy girls who love to be by your side and part of whatever you’re doing. They walk very easy on a leash with absolutely no pulling whatsoever. They enjoy sleeping in bed with you, especially after their month out in the cold. They will play fetch and chase each other around the yard and play with the other dogs, all sizes and breeds. They love to have a window to look out of and do not enjoy being in crates. They have excellent house manners and do not get into any trouble or chew on anything and have perfect housetraining habits. They are about 35 pounds and very easy to manage together, they are very happy girls!! They jump in the bathtub and are easy to give a bath to! all vetting complete on both girls. email irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application

Story
Pixel’s 92 year old owner passed away at Thanksgiving ‘24. He had spent his life in an apartment, trained to pee pads and used to caregivers taking him out for walks and potty breaks. then he was placed in a very busy foster home with a lot of energy and a lot of dogs… And he has completely loved all of the opportunity to run around and play with the other dogs!! Looking for a home that has another playful dog for him, he absolutely loves having dog company. He walks nice on a leash and loves a lot of petting and sleeping on the bed beside you. His house manners are perfect even without ouppy pads down! He can navigate the stairs just fine and has had a full vet exam and comprehensive blood panel done that showed no health complications. He is very overweight, but gradually losing weight with more exercise with the other dogs. He is happy to play and chase toys and fetch them and bring them back to you. He cannot see as well as a younger dog, so he can be a little bit snappy if he doesn’t understand where your hand is going— Which is why kids are not recommended. He absolutely loves his stuffed animals, and literally came with a carload of toys when he was dropped off. This guy has a lot of life and love yet to give!
