My name is Diamond, I am a very sweet loving lady. I want to warn you up front that I can JUMP I can jump over all short fences. I normally don't run off if you are around with me. I just cant help myself I get bored. But I do great with all people and haven't met a dog I don't mind to be around. If you are looking for a girl who would love hikes, couch time, or just to be with you I am YOUR girl!!! I am not good with cats and you need a very strong crate to keep me in if you are thinking of crate training.

I am an athletic girl, who will need to be contained by taller fences as I always want to be with you. I need some work on home manner and jumping on you manners. I am food motivated so training should be a breeze, I am also very smart. I am good with most dogs I can play a little rough and not read the other dogs body language so some dogs do not like me. I have tested ok with cats could use some work just as I like to play.

Story
I was said to be a heeler mix the shelter staff think I am maybe more of a sighthound type breed. As I am lean and tall. I am very shy when it comes to new people and I need to be able to take my time with you. Going on walks helps me relax and open up a lot more. Once I get to know you I will let you see more of my personality, I tend to be more goofy, playful, and snuggly. I am treat motivated. I do have to disclose I do have a bite history I was with my owner and I nipped someone and then he was forced to give me up. I really didn't mean to I didn't know it was going to mean I couldn't stay with him. I was forced into what is called rabies quarantine, I am clear now and the vet team who quarantined me said I was a good boy and never showed any signs of wanting to bite or aggression. Just to take your time with me when you are a new person. When I first got to this new shelter I let them handle me with no problems but now that I really know them man am I a goof ball I run and act crazy and have even made a few dog friends. I know I made a mistake but I will do my very best to be a good boy I swear will you please take me home?
