Story
This is Maple. She turns 1 at the end of January. We have had her since early May and we have tried and tried but she just is not fitting into our family dynamic. She would be better suited in a family with a very large yard where she can run all the time. She has been kennel trained her entire time with us and no longer has accidents inside (unless she gets very nervous) She is very timid with those she doesn’t know but warms up quickly and wants to be a snuggled lap dog. She’s very food motivated. She knows sit and shake (hands) commands. She’s currently eating Authority Salmon and Rice dry kibble. She comes with the rest of her food and bowl with slow feeder. She’s good with our toddler, cat and dog. She’s up to date on her shots but is not yet spayed as we were waiting until she’d turned one (I’ve heard it both ways that dogs are better after they’re 1 to spay or it doesn’t matter after 6 month) She’s already in heat currently. She should be perfectly fine to be spayed now.

Story
Sally was a well-loved family member until her Dad was diagnosed with dementia. As the disease progressed, Sally became the object of abuse. Dementia is a heartbreaking disease and we are grateful we are able to help Sally find a new home. It is a mystery how Sally hasn't been adopted yet! Anyone would be lucky to have this sweet girl! Sally behaves nicely on a leash and is a delight to walk with. She has such a tender heart and would be an ideal family pet. She would thrive as the only animal so that all your attention is on her! Can you help Sally and make her dream come true? Let her be your new best friend! *Leash trained *Crate trained *Medium-low energy

Story
`The charming guy is so fun to go on a walk with. He is very chill and walks great on a leash. He likes shopping. He loves playing, he will play all day. He wears all the other dogs out. He likes to be the alpha and would prefer any dog siblings agree. He also needs reminded that humans are in charge. He does want to learn and picks stuff up fairly quickly. He is healthy. He has had a checkup and heartworm test.`-Fosters of Lucky-
