Story
Remember our recent spay/neuter clinic on the Uintah/Ouray Reservation? Well, Salo was one of the puppies who joined us on the ride back — and he’s been melting hearts ever since. At just 3 months old, Salo is the kind of pup who already seems to understand that love is a language all its own. He’s soft-eared, sweet-natured, and always ready to follow you around with gentle curiosity (and maybe a hopeful glance for another treat). His kisses are light, his tail wags are steady, and his attention? Completely focused on you. Whether you're on a walk, curled up for a nap, or just moving from room to room, Salo's ready to be your loyal little shadow — learning, growing, and loving every step of the way.

Story
Meet Maple — your new tiny shadow. At just 7 pounds and 2.5 years old, Maple may be small, but her heart is anything but. She was adopted as a puppy and grew up in a loving home, but when life changed, she found her way to Nuzzles in search of a second chance. Maple is house-trained, well-mannered, and absolutely adores her people. She’s the kind of pup who quietly follows you from room to room, content just to be near. Whether you’re working from home, binging your favorite show, or heading out on a road trip, Maple is always ready to be by your side — or in your lap. She’s fully grown, easy to travel with, and loves nothing more than a tasty treat (bonus points if you catch her standing on her hind legs in excitement — it’s her signature move). Maple prefers her space when it comes to other pets — she could potentially co-exist with an independent animal who respects boundaries, but she'd be just as happy (maybe even happier!) as your one and only. After all, being the center of someone's world sounds pretty perfect to her. Maple is ready for a forever home filled with love, snuggles, and snacks. If you’re looking for a tiny, loyal companion with a big personality, she just might be the one for you.

Story
Louise is the 39-pound, 1.5-year-old sweetheart of the pair—the perfect balance of gentle affection and easygoing charm. When she meets you, she loves to wiggle her nose in close for some good lovings before flopping over to ask for a belly rub (and honestly, how can you resist?). Louise is a bit more lowkey than her sister, appreciating quiet days and moderate walks, but she's just as devoted when it comes to staying close to her people—and especially close to Thelma. Thelma and Louise sleep together, eat together, and love walking side by side, whether they’re strolling through the neighborhood or just hanging out around the house. They seem to be wonderfully house-savvy (no destruction here!), though a little gentle coaching with basic commands would help them settle in even more. At the Rescue Ranch, they love breaking up computer work by popping in for pets or to proudly show off a toy, before snuggling down into a cozy bed nearby. They're under 40 pounds each, travel easily, and bring double the love, double the smiles, and double the sweetness wherever they go. If you're looking for two lovable companions who’ll bring laughter, loyalty, and a little bit of adventure to your life, Thelma and Louise are ready to ride with you.

Story
Vi came back with us from the Uintah/Ouray spay and neuter clinic, tucked into a crate full of puppy dreams and soft blankets — and since then, she’s been busy making everyone fall for her. This 3-month-old darling is playful, bright, and totally tuned in to the people around her. She’s got the softest little ears and a gentle way of looking at you like she already knows you’re her person. Give her a treat and she’ll follow you anywhere; give her a moment of kindness and she’ll return it tenfold. Vi is the kind of pup that makes you imagine a whole new rhythm to your life — one filled with morning zoomies, midday snuggles, and a whole lot of joy.

Story
Thelma is a bright spark of joy wrapped up in a 36-pound, mixed-breed body. At just 1 year old, she’s the spicier sister of the duo, and her enthusiasm shines the moment she brings you her favorite toy to show off. She’s always ready to share her excitement—especially when guests arrive (she’s convinced a warm welcome requires a few happy announcements!). With a big heart and a playful spirit, Thelma loves being around people and is happiest when she's sharing her day with you, whether that's lounging close by or heading out on a walk with her best friend, Louise. Thelma and Louise sleep together, eat together, and love walking side by side, whether they’re strolling through the neighborhood or just hanging out around the house.
