Story
Stout is a goofy boy that's had trouble finding his spot in the pecking order. After several months with an experienced foster/trainer, he's done so much better! Will need reinforcement and an alpha (human) owner. He's great with people/kids, good with female dogs and males that don't push for dominance. He doesn't bother cats. He's a great dog, very well mannered, rides in cars well, loves to go, crate and house trained. Foster to adopt can be a great scenario to get to know Stout and see if he's the perfect fit.

Story
Makaria is a timid, but sweet, silly girl that has either experienced some trauma, or just wasn't socialized at an early age. She has come out of her shell quite a bit, but will need a patient adopter to continue to give her time to gain her trust. She loves other dogs and children, and needs a friend to play with. We estimate her dob is 6/1/23. She appears to be a German Shepherd mix, on the small side, and is fully vetted and current on appropriate preventatives. She likes the comfort of her kennel/crate/doghouse.

Story
Bella is a sweet, young, excited girl - medium to high energy level. It's hard to tell because she's in a foster home with a very small yard, definitely needs more room to run and play. She's been spayed/vetted and is current on preventatives - TriHeart and Bravecto. Her energy may be too much for young children, but she loves all people and the dogs she's met so far. She wants to chase cats and squirrels. She is house and leash trained, working on crate training and other basic commands. She's smart and she's a pleaser, we're sure she'll catch on quickly!

Story
Skye is loads of fun! She is bursting with personality, curiosity and inquisition - it shows all over her face. She is just beautiful! All my other dogs are BIG, and compared to them she's petite, thin framed with soft, slick hair. Her ears do different things, one usually stands up and the other flops. She wants to be by you, wants to see what you're doing up on the countertop or bed (not allowed on furniture). She and her sisters do zoomies around the house, it sounds like thunder. When alone, she can focus and show off the tricks she learned, but really wants to be in your lap and face. Most photos I have of her are blurry because she's moving, or they're selfies because she's in my bubble. She is very smart, house/leash/crate trained, knows basic commands, treat/food motivated. She will make a sweet, but fun, addition to any family! Medium to high energy level. She will do best with an active family and a dog friend or two. She and three siblings (Gabby, Starr and Pupau), at 8 weeks old were found on a one lane county road in all the April rain storms. No momma with them. Foster to adopt is a great way to see if Gabby is a good fit for your family.

Story
Starr is the largest of her litter of 4 girls and the leader of the pack. She is curious and energetic and has beautiful facial markings and a shiny coat. She and three siblings (Gabby, Sky and Pupau), at 8 weeks old were found on a one lane county road in all the April rain storms. No momma with them. They love to play with each other all day long, love water, have a kid pool and love it. She is medium to high energy level, crate/leash/house trained, knows how to sit, very smart, food motivated, love treats, especially her peanut butter kongs! Starr goes to the door to let us know when it's time to do her business, and taps on the window when it's time to come it! She is fully vetted and ready to be the perfect addition to a family! Foster to adopt is a great way to make sure she's the perfect fit.

Story
Ester is a beautiful, well behaved pup, with black and white/grey and typical gsp coat. She had a rough start to life but is thriving in our care. Ester was found starving and abandoned, covered in fleas and severely malnourished. Despite her rough start, she has blossomed into a loving and trusting companion. Ester is incredibly confident and playful with both people and other dogs. Her journey to recovery has not dampened her spirit. She is still petite but has filled in nicely since being found. Social Skills and Behavior: Ester is a high energy pup who loves to play and interact with others. She is affectionate and enjoys the company of people and other dogs. She quickly captivates the hearts of those she meets! Training and Progress: - Potty training: She is working on it and making steady improvements. Never poops inside but has trouble holding her bladder for more than a few hours. - Crate training: she is crate trained and enjoys being in her kennel staying quiet for the most part unless she needs to go potty. - Leash training: She walks easily on a leash, making walks enjoyable. Health and Care: Ester has had a few health complications. During her spay surgery, the vet noticed abnormalities. During recovery, her previous foster noticed she was having a hard time holding her bladder while in her kennel. After follow up visits with the vet, they decided an additional exploratory surgery was necessary. The vet discovered her bladder was lined with unknown substance that was hard as bone. Biopsy of the material found came back as unknown and puzzled the vets. After a few rounds of antibiotics she has made a full recovery from her last surgery however still has a slight incontinence issue and needs to wear a diaper inside and in her kennel out of precaution. Ideal Home: Ester will thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and playtime. Due to her high energy levels and strength, she will do best with a family who can provide her with ample training and supervision. She loves being around people and will be a wonderful companion for a family who can match her playful spirit and give her the love she deserves. If you are looking for a resilient, affectionate, and energetic pup to add joy and excitement to your life, Ester could be the perfect fit. She is ready to find her forever home and share her love and playful energy with a family who will cherish her. Come meet Ester and see if she’s the perfect addition to your family! Foster-to-Adopt is a great way for a trial period with a dog.
