Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hi there, I'm Davis! My friends at the kennel call me a "sensitive soul", but it is only because I do not like to be alone. What can I say? I like the company! They also say that I feed off the emotions of other dogs. Because of this I would only feel comfortable going home with a very laid back, passive dog. A home with no other dogs would be even better! You will always catch me with a smile on my face. Eager to please and eager to love! Those are my words to live by! I'm a pretty easy guy to get along with. If you'd like to see that for yourself, fill out an application to meet me! I'd love to meet you! ********* Davis has separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is with him the majority of the day or is able to have someone come over and let him out or bring him to doggie daycare. He loves his people and will sit in laps, on feet, etc., to keep you near. He also very much prefers to sleep in bed with his people. He's a very sweet, sensitive, athletic boy who will require time, energy and patience, but the love that comes back will be more than worth it. He has flourished in his foster home with his human parents and furry siblings. We can't wait to see what he does in his forever home. Davis has been fortunate enough to have a DNA panel ran, and his results can be viewed via the link below: https://www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/8kvr3mw **** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of has been sponsored by a generous donor and covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hi there, I'm Boots! Up until my rescue I lived my life on a short chain. It was very lonely living outside for such a long time by myself, so I have a lot to make up for now that i'm safe! Although I wasn't always treated the best by my owners, I still can't help but to love everyone I meet. I am still working on learning my manners and leash skills - I just get so excited for attention! I'm decidedly NOT a fan of cats, but have done very well when it comes to playgroups with female dogs; what can I say, I love my canine buddies! The shelter staff often relies on me to learn if new dogs are friendly, because being social is what I do! I've got 'sit' down pretty solid, and am good about keeping a clean kennel, so I think I'll be a rockstar in a home environment. While I've done a lot of maturing at the shelter I'm still pretty high energy, so I am looking for an active home who can help me learn what being a part of a family is really like. Could it be with you? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Sweet and fun-loving, Mateo has certainly had a rough start that he's not let get him down. He's yet to meet a stranger, loves toys(balls are his favorite), and is solid on a leash but could use some refinement. Because of his questionable start, we have yet to see him successfully interact with other dogs; he lacks social cues and would likely do best as an only dog. Cats are sadly a firm no, as he shows a strong prey drive. He's started to work on basic obedience, knowing sit and being the King of the pouty lip when he begs. For an active home, he's perfection! Mateo is a goofball through and through, and sometimes doesn't make the best decisions - toys with squeakers **must be monitored closely** as he loves to chew them up and swallow the squeakers!! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** I'm Lyra, and my story began when I was rescued from a tough situation at a Buddhist Temple in Houston. Now that I'm safe and sound, I'm living my best doggy life and discovering the joys of being carefree! I'm a cuddler at heart, but I've got a playful side too. Back at the kennel, I really enjoy hanging out with other dogs in playgroups but they say I'm too rowdy for most dogs, so I'm happy to stick to myself. My friends say I can get a little too excited sometimes, so I think I'd be happiest with another rough and tumble pup as my buddy. Want a gal who looks like she REALLY works out? A big beefy muscle queen with a heart of gold? That's me!! To be honest, I'd never seen toys before my rescue, but now I can't get enough of them. My bed is practically overflowing with toys! I'm eagerly looking forward to finding a loving home where I can truly be myself and let my personality shine. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Not good with kids, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Zodiac is a vibrant and spirited 2-year-old pup who was found nursing a litter of 9 puppies of her own. While all of her puppies have moved on to their very own families up north, Zodiac is still searching for an active and adventurous family of her own. With a zest for life and a tail that never stops wagging, she is the perfect companion! Her foster family says she loves squeaky toys, cuddles, new people, and sunbathing in the yard. Despite her active nature, Zodiac is also a true sweetheart. She adores cuddles and is always looking to impress her people. She is the perfect size at 50lbs, just right to fit on your lap! Zodiac has experienced a foster home wherein she did well overall but was just too loving for their 10 month old; as such, we recommend a home with children 6 and up. She ADORES children, but can be overwhelming with the kiss-giving(and is obsessed with diapers!) Sweet Zodiac has proven to do well with other dogs, but does prefer to be the dominant dog in a pack(gently so, but still boss dog). Zodiac has been fortunate enough to have a donated DNA panel ran, and her results are via the link below; you truly can't beat this all-American girl for her intelligence and versatility! https://www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/g13phdk If you're looking for your next companion, Zodiac's loyalty and affection may just melt your heart. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $175 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Dolly! Dolly is a young energetic pup who is known for her enthusiasm for playtime at the kennel. Dolly participates in daily playgroups and prides herself on walking the other dogs around the yard on their own leash. Dolly has shared some sleepovers with our staff where she has done well with children and slept quietly in her kennel throughout the night. Although fearful of the television and other new experiences at first, she warms up quickly and is a doll to have around! Dolly was rescued with mange and cracking skin from her infection. She has come so far and is growing her velvet coat out day by day. She would love nothing more than to fully recover in a loving home! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org.
