You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stay (a blk lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children feel in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen. These girls are very athletic, energetic and have a high drive. They are extremely smart and will need an active home to keep their minds and bodies engaged and out of trouble! Piper would love a backyard to run freely in, time to sit on a porch with her people and watch the sunset along with a kid to sleep with! She is good with dogs and would do very well with one who is more dominate. She is NOT cat friendly. She is crate trained, loves car rides and loves to swim. Her favorite thing to do, is to run and play with others, and then, nap time! She is an easy going gal with the best snuggles and kisses to give. **PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.** If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.org. The adoption fee is $400. All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer. Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton. Mochi was originally Topaz at the ranch, she was rescued last year but had to be returned to the rescue. She knows the name Mochi now. She was returned because the adopter was having a hard time potty training her, even after hiring a dog trainer, so her future adopter or foster will have to put some effort with her. At the rescue where she has a doggy door , there is no issue with her going potty inside and she also holds it all night and does not potty inside here at the ranch. Mochi apx 6 years young and 9.5 pounds. She is a very loving and affectionate dog. She loves people and children (her adopter had two children) . She is submissive with people and always loves all the attention and lap time. She acclimates very quickly and bonds very quickly with humans. She is good with other dogs and cats, she has lots of fur friends and even sleeps with the other dogs at night, she is not aggressive, not food aggressive or anything BUT, she is a bit of a dominant bossy female. She plays with other dogs here and she loves to play and cuddle with them but she is the “mom” and a bit of the fun police at times, typical chiweenie behavior, she also rarely starts a tussle but if another dog growls or tries to be dominant over her, she will stand her ground which sometimes leads to a little girl fight. She walks on leash perfectly. All in all Mochi is a great girl , just a bit of a diva :) and very much holds many traits more so of her dachshund mix .
