Story
Hi there! My name is Chanel and I’m looking for my forever home! My foster mom says I am one of the sweetest dogs she’s ever met, but I can be very shy when encountering new people. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my playful and affectionate personality shines through! I love toys, especially stuffed animals, and I will bring them outside in the yard when it’s time to play. I also bring them to my crate at bedtime—it makes me feel safe and cozy! I thrive around other small dogs so I really need to be in a home where I will have fur siblings to play with. I am potty trained and I am familiar with a doggy door. But I may have an accident if I am startled or nervous, so please be patient with me. And I am still learning to walk on a leash, but I’m getting better every day! If you’re ready to welcome me into your home and help me continue to grow, I will repay you with lots of adorable antics, love and cuddles! Can’t wait to meet you! **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
This ‘Big’ guy (larger of the two brothers) is very smart and intuitive. He learns very quickly and takes no time in figuring things out. This little explorer is the climber in the family. There is no piece of furniture, kennel, or barrier he can’t or won’t climb if he spots an opening. He is not necessarily a water dog, but swims well and if taught will quickly figure out how to get out of the pool safely. This energetic guy was raised with a brother and wrestling partner, so an adopted partner at your home would be a plus. The preferred playmate would be youthful and ready to play, and his family also needs to be ready to play. He is a hugger, and don’t underestimate this puppy’s strength. Clark also loves to play with cats whether THEY want to play or not. He is non-aggressive toward anything or anyone, and you’ll love how he shows his emotions through his ears. Clark has started kennel training and is very close to fully potty trained. This little explorer is so much fun, and we’re confident he will become part of the family immediately. Clark’s brother is also up for adoption, and these two would be great if adopted together or separately. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
This ‘little’ guy (smaller of the two brothers) is an explorer. He is zero to 100 mph in no time flat. When he’s mellow he becomes the best little snuggle dog you’ll find. Lewis loves to play inside or out and would be best with a partner to explore the house, backyard, or wherever you’ll let him explore. He’s very close to his brother but would be just as happy with another partner of your choosing. He can play rough, so the other partner should be ready to play as well and should be fairly youthful. Not only is Lewis great with dogs, but he is non-aggressive and wants to play with cats. Lewis is not a pool loving puppy, but he’s not afraid of playing with the hose or sprinkler. Lewis has started kennel training and is very close to fully potty trained. Lewis makes lots of funny noises when playing with his much larger brother, and you’ll love how he shows his emotions through his ears. This little explorer is so much fun, and we’re confident he will become part of the family immediately. Lewis’s brother is also up for adoption, and these two would be great if adopted together or separately. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Hi! My name is Silvia, but my foster mom calls me Callie. I would love to be your brown eyed girl. I’m a young high spirited female mix of catahoula, lab and whippet. While it’s not polite to ask a lady her age or weight I am around a year old and 37 pounds. I am super affectionate and enjoy meeting people and other dogs. I go into my kennel without a fuss. I am 85% potty trained and still figuring out the doggie door evidently feet first isn’t quite right. I am practicing leash training and working on my manners. I am a quicker learner and will be good at agility or running and love long walks. I enjoy car rides and snuggles and have met the neighborhood kids and they really like me. Don’t be fooled by my sleek exterior I have a very impressive bark. I have a great time play with my foster sister we have so much playing. I am working on not getting too excited when I see cats and squirrels but hey I am part catahoula it’s in my name. I am looking for a loving home and I think we could have lots of fun together! **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
I'm Maddie and I hope you are looking for a friendly, playful girl to add to your family. I have the sweetest personality and softest eyes. I will very gently paw at you for attention. I love belly rubs and playing with toys. I seem to be totally house trained and sleep quietly in my crate overnight. I also know how to use the dog door. I am a curious pup and am still learning what is appropriate for me to play with or chew on, but I'm getting it and correct very quickly. I have learned "sit" and am quite smart. Other dogs make me happy so a playmate for me will be perfect! I am very food motivated and treats will go far when you teach me new commands. I am a great size - not too big and not too small. Will you consider me as a family addition? **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Meet Theo, a precious 2-4 year old, 9 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Frisco, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Theo is one of three Yorkies that were recently confiscated due to neglect. You would never know it by Theos disposition. He is a happy, playful, pup, ready for any adventure. He is estimated to be between three and four years old. He is very smart, and has quickly learned that if he goes potty outside, he gets a treat. Were still working on this, as occasionally, he still will wet the belly band. However the progress hes made in just the three days weve had him is great! He loves toys, but his favorite is an old sock. He carries that thing around with him everywhere. If you toss it, he will chase it and bring it to you, but he does not like giving it back. He sometimes gets a little snippy about it. We are working on that. He has been great with our Golden Retriever. He likes to visit her, sniff her, but respects her boundaries. Im sure he would play great with a smaller pup. He follows everyone in our household around, so curious about everything. He sleeps next to the bed on his blanket. He would love to sleep in the bed with his humans, but due to his recent neuter, we havent let him for fear he might try to jump off in the night and injure his stitches. Theo loves being outdoors! When he goes out into the yard, he sniffs every inch, then he runs at full speed all around. Were planning to take him on his first leash walk this weekend. Hes been on one car ride to the store which ended fairly well. He was a little nervous at first but settled down. Overall, he is a happy, curious pup just looking for someone to love on him. He will need a family willing to spend time with him and play with him. Due to time in his previously life in a kennel, we do not recommend crating him. As my husband said, Theo will be someones new best friend. He will make an excellent companion.
