Story
Diesel is 2 years and 8 months. He is very loving but doesn’t get along with other animals. And he’s very vocal about unknown people or other animals. But he’s very lovable. We just want him to go to a loving home with someone who would take care of him and play with him.

Story
Lydia holds a special place in my heart, she is so sweet and loving but is often overlooked, being a solid black pit mix the odds of being picked are really stacked against her but I swear if you give her a chance she'll be your best friend. Lydia is great with kids and other dogs, she even does well with cats! She's extremely food motivated and smart as a whip. Lydia has been my shotgun rider since she was 10 weeks old and when she was returned to the rescue she jumped back in her seat like no time had passed, she is incredibly socialised and has even been in a parade! Schedule a meet and greet with this girl, you won't regret it!

Story
Apple is a high energy medium sized girl who loves to play just as much as she loves a cuddle! She does well with other dogs that can match her energy but she doesn't do so good with chickens. Apple would do best in a home that will give her a consistent outlet for her energy. ##1860015##

Story
Hi I'm Thelma! My sister Louise and I were dumped in a cardbox in a nice ladies driveway when were babies. The box had a shipping label on it and the people even confessed to leaving us behind but law enforcement still did nothing to defend us so the community came together and helped the nice lady get us taken care of at the vet! We've been staying with a friend of the lady but she was in an accident and sustained permanent damage to the nerves and bones in her neck so we are looking for new families that can keep up with our puppy energy! Quote from foster: " Thelma is the definition of a 'velcro dog', she would live in your skin if you'd let her. She is great around the ponies and cows and loves to play with the cats. Given free range of the property she still doesn't wander far from the house. She's smart as a whip and with a little dedication from someone more able bodied she would train really quickly. She loves the water and I catch her in the ponies trough almost daily. he really is a great dog and I love her, I just can't be what she needs right now." Thelma needs to be the only female dog in the home. She is a wonderful playmate for males though. Thelma is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Story
Bruno is a loving protective dog but he is also a certified "man hater", just kidding, he's man selective and very picky about the males he tolerates in his life. Bruno is the perfect "scary dog privilege" companion for a lady, he'll guard your home and keep you safe on walks. He loves to cuddle, have a snack, or get some exercise with his human. He also loves toys. He gets along with female dogs that match his size energy, and tackle football play style. Story: Bruno was euth listed in a crowded city shelter at about 12 weeks old along with the rest of his littermates. He was pulled by a rescue and adopted out roughly a year later. The adopter was told he got along well with other dogs and all people which unfortunately not the case. Bruno decided that his adopters brother didn't make the cut of men that will be tolerated, this wasn't detrimental because the brother works out of town and hardly ever came home so they just kept Bruno put away when brother was visiting. The adopter also had another neutered male dog and he and Bruno did mostly okay together for a while, not great as they couldn't play with toys with the both of them and they needed to be fed separately but again, manageable. The adopter booked a board and train for the two boys together and they did wonderful and were awesome when they returned home for a few months. One night the boys snapped and got into an awful fight that was difficult to break up. At a breaking point the adopter reached out to his original rescue to see if they could take him back into their program and they declined. The boys have lived in a "crate and rotate" situation for about a year now and it just isn't fair to either of them so we are posting sweet Bruno in an attempt to give him and his housemate the lives they deserve.
