Story
Sawyer is friendly and active! For how smart he is, he can be pretty silly too. He is super trainable, well-behaved at the dog park, and loves to play with the neighbors kids. We wake up and walk the neighborhood off leash, his manners always get compliments. He loves to play catch, tug of war, keep away, ride in the car, and be included on adventures. Dislikes vinegar! He also loves to run, but has never run off. He has a beautiful coat, I share an egg every morning and I think it keeps him shiny. he’s food motivated, you can always get his attention with a snack. He would love a sibling or kids around! I wish I could bring Sawyer with me to NYC, but I will be happy if I can find him a loving home.

Story
Nova is 4 years old, house trained, friendly, very smart, and very energetic. We have had her since she was 10 weeks old, she has all of her shots, and no history of illness or any medical conditions. It pains us to do this, but with a new baby and our work schedules, we have come to the realization that we don’t have the time and energy to devote to Nova that she deserves. She needs a family that will give her the attention, exercise, and stimulation that she requires.

Mutt

Male, Young
Baytown, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Eeyore is looking for his forever home. He is fixed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, chipped, crate trained. Last July we found Eeyore abandoned on the streets in Livingston with no one to claim him. We took him in hoping to keep him forever but unfortunately he does not get along with two of our other dogs. He would be best to be an only dog with a yard to play in. He takes a little bit to get used to new people but once he does he is the most loving, loyal, cuddly little boy. If you or anyone you know is interested please let me know there will be a rehoming fee.

Midnight

Labrador Retriever Australian Cattle Dog

Female, Young
Baytown, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
A little over 2 years ago, Midnight was found locked in a closet with her brother in one of the homes that I build in the area. I rescued her and took her to the vet to get checked out, update her shots and eventually came back to bring her home. She is an amazing dog that loves to run and play, loves water and swimming in lakes and getting her multiple naps per day. She is very active and loves to jump up on her back legs to give hugs and kisses. Anyone would enjoy being around Midnight, she is such a pleasure to have. Our lifestyle and work schedule doesn’t allow us to give Midnight the life suited for her.

Story
Hi, I'm Baxter! Age: Approx. 2 years Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 55 lbs Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever Mix Favorites: Treats, toys Energy level: High Training: Will sit for treat Other important info about me: I came to the shelter as a stray with a microchip, but my owner never came for me. I’m very friendly and playful, and love meeting new people! A lot of people may look past me or may be intimidated by me because I’m a large, black, “bully breed” type dog, but don’t let that misguide you into thinking I’m scary or that there’s something wrong with me! I’m a sweet guy that just wants a family to love. I appear to do well with people of all ages and other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
Tex is a Morkie who is 12 years old. He has been a great family dog throughout his life. At this time, our family has a busy schedule, and Tex needs more attention, love, and someone to be with him than we can offer him. He loves to cuddle and be close to his owner. He will wait by the door for you to get home and greet you with lots of excitement! He really needs someone who is home more often than not to love on him as he’s aging and is seeking extra companionship.
