Story
She is amazing with kids. Very cuddly and lovable. She is high energy and would do great with someone who wants a running buddy. She barks at other dogs and cats, but has never been aggressive or bitten other animals. She loves chew toys and going on walks. She is a great family dog. If I could keep her I would, unfortunately, I am not allowed to bring her to the place my family will be living.

Story
We found Max about 8 months ago starved and in poor condition. His owner was abusive and neglectful and Max was basically on his own. We began feeding him, took him to the vet to have him neutered and get his shots, and he began staying with us some. His owner gave him to us about 2 months ago and Max is now in good shape and ready for a new owner. The house we're living in has been sold and we're moving out and, unfortunately, losing our fenced yard for at least a year while we build a house and live in an RV. Max needs an experienced owner who can work with him on a few things. But he's really smart, very athletic, eager to learn and looking forward to a lifelong home with a new owner. He's leash trained, house trained, kennel trained and in fact, loves his kennel. He will still counter surf if you leave food out but we're working on that.He hasn't been around people very much and needs help with that. The good news is, you will no longer need to compost. Max will handle it!

Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!
