Story
Archie is a very good and active family pet who has been very loved for the past five years. While not a fault in any way, my elderly mother is unfortunately not able to meet his activity level and he would thrive in a home with people who are able to have regular active play with him. He is very playful and talkative (not barking) and gets along with the six cats he has lived with for years.

Story
Snoopy is a loving dog who likes to cuddle and run and play. He was raised with a cat when he was a puppy and sometimes meows. He would probably be OK with a cat, but would chase it a lot and annoy it. He is very tiny weighing in at only 5 pounds. He has struggled with potty training, and we put a wrap on him when he is running around the house. This seems to work pretty well. Snoopy is a vocal dog who whines when he doesn’t get enough attention and is scared of thunderstorms. We have been too busy to properly attend to his needs since he likes a lot of attention. He is purebred and registered with the AKC. We have the paperwork to be provided to the new owner.

Story
NEW ENGLAND ADOPTER NEEDED! Hello, I’m Evan, a very handsome, athletic 1 yr. old, 50 lb, hound mix named after one of the TX rangers! I was dumped at 5 weeks old on a freezing cold night along a creek in the woods along with my 6 little siblings in the middle of Texas. The ladies who found us said we were out there at least two weeks because we were starving and very skinny. It was rough!…but then they saved us and nurtured us back to good health. Life’s been good ever since. Now I made it up to NH and live with my four foster bro’s. I’m super happy now and very grateful. Foster mom says I’m a free spirit and incredibly sweet and affectionate. I’m housebroken and well behaved most of the time, but I get into trouble sometimes when I can’t tell the difference between my toys and objects like shoes, glasses, the remote control, paint brushes and other things that are fun to run away with. Shoes are my favorite toys! When I get caught I hunker down and try to disappear; foster mom is never really mad at me because I’m so cute when I know I was wrong and guilty. She says I’m at the perfect age to go to doggie obedience school and learn fun tricks and impeccable manners. She says I will get good grades because I am a smart boy. I already sit for treats and I come running back immediately when she calls me. I never wander away and get lost. I run like the wind, super fast. Foster mom says it’s great to watch me run. Maybe my grandpa was a Whippet? I surely could win a doggie running race. I don’t have much of a prey drive, and don’t want to be alpha-dog. I get along well with other dogs (and cats) and would love to have one in my new family. I’m sweet to all animals; I like barking at frogs at night but won’t hurt them or any other critter. I haven’t been around children, but I’ll like them too. I love to go for long hikes and swim like a champ especially with my foster bro. We compete for the sticks and balls thrown far away and return them together. It makes for great little videos. He always wins because I’m not very competitive; I roll with things, and just love to play.  One other good trait is that I’m always very aware of my surroundings…I’ll make a good guard dog. I’m not always polite when I meet new people. Foster mom says I need a  little training for that too. I will sit for treats, and I will settle down calmly in my crate. I will be a very easy cheerful loyal affectionate and smart companion and can’t wait to find my furrrever home.
